Library, Saturday 1/8

After his one phone call yesterday, Blackagar had felt it best to 'lay low'. Just in case Cally did come looking for him and he was forced to prevent Medusa from harming her.

Which would be bad since damaging humans seemed to be considered wrong here.

They had special logic, okay? So, he was just going to shelve books today. Yes, all day long.

After checking her voicemail, Medusalith didn't know whether to be concerned or enraged (she was leaning toward enraged over that last one) and needed something familiar. AKA, Blackagar.

"Humans are insane," was how she opted to greet him. It had the benefit of being true.

Blackagar peaked out from a row of books and was more than pleased to find it was her. Well, they knew that before, but yes. They did seem to be extra insane lately.

Did--she happen to get any sort of messages?

"That horrible ethics teacher seems to think I'm jealous of that collection of dead cells on top of his head." She and her hair begged to disagree. Violently.

So, instead, he shook his head at the very thought someone's hair would be better than hers.

The worst possible time, yes. How could he betray her and her hair like that? "It's absurd. Appalling!" She could go on.

Another time then!

Putting his books down, Blackagar closed the distance between them in hopes of calming her. Her hair was getting a bit--well, he'd rather not explain to the librarian why shelves were knocked over.

Oh, very well, she would calm her hair down. Even if knocking over the shelves might make her feel better. "Why would anyone even say that?"
