Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

In order to give people a place to get away from the traffic jam of the buffet and information tables, most of the chairs and tables had been set up further out on the lawn, away from the school building. The bonfires were going strong, and there was plenty of room for everyone to sit down and enjoy themselves. Assuming they weren't too busy still trying to figure this place out.

Ariel definitely didn't know if she was a peep, but she was eager to meet all the new kids, and so there was she was, bouncing up to the new boy and smiling.

"Yeah, that's right," Hank told her with a grin. "The Hankenator is goin' to school."

"The Hankenator?" asked Ariel, trying to keep back her laugh. "Is that your real name?"

"You better believe it," Hank answered slyly.

"...Well, actually, you shouldn't. Hankenator's actually my superawesome nickname. My REAL name is just Hank. Yeah, but you can call me the Hankenator."

"But Hank is a lot shorter," Ariel pointed out and was really, really trying hard not to giggle. "So doesn't that make a better nickname, because it's shorter?"

"You'd think that," Hank told her, "but you're forgetting to factor in the coolness factor. 'Cause it's a big factor."

"Oh, is that so?" asked Ariel, unable to avoid giggling at that. "And Hankinator ups the coolness factor, is that what you're telling me?"

"Indubitably!!!" Hank grinned. "But I guess you can just call me 'Hank', if ya want. Everyone does. Just so long as it's not 'Henry'. I hate 'Henry'."
