Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

In order to give people a place to get away from the traffic jam of the buffet and information tables, most of the chairs and tables had been set up further out on the lawn, away from the school building. The bonfires were going strong, and there was plenty of room for everyone to sit down and enjoy themselves. Assuming they weren't too busy still trying to figure this place out.

[OCD is up! This is the FIRST post for general mingling. Please use this post first, if your browser can handle the comment load. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here and there's more room for mingling here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"I'd been tutored for years before coming here, too," Bruce said. Now Bruce was curious if Anduin was from the past or a medieval world, because those were generally the only ways a castle would be that familiar. "You should get used to it pretty quickly. The classes are fairly small, and the teachers tend to be fairly hands-on."

"Oh, that sounds excellent. I have to admit, I'm not entirely sure what classes my father signed me up for," Anduin said. "Hopefully, I'll enjoy them." He wondered if Bruce was some kind of noble to have tutors as well. He certainly carried himself like someone who wasn't poor.

"It seems like most of the classes should be interesting, so I wouldn't worry about them too much," Bruce said. "And I've yet to see a bad teacher here. I'm not just saying that because there could be one in hearing range, either."

Anduin laughed as he looked around. "Still, it can't hurt to be safe. It might not be smart to get on a teacher's bad side before school has even started."

"The way I see it, if a teacher's good, they don't have to worry about me saying anything bad about them. It's a win-win situation," Bruce said. "I learn things and don't get in trouble, they get to teach an enthusiastic student and not have their name dragged through the mud."
