Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

In order to give people a place to get away from the traffic jam of the buffet and information tables, most of the chairs and tables had been set up further out on the lawn, away from the school building. The bonfires were going strong, and there was plenty of room for everyone to sit down and enjoy themselves. Assuming they weren't too busy still trying to figure this place out.

[OCD is up! This is the FIRST post for general mingling. Please use this post first, if your browser can handle the comment load. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here and there's more room for mingling here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"True," Emma admitted. "Don't worry, I didn't take-up running a commissary of illegal goods while you were gone or anything like that. Everything is just as you left it."

"And you're just how I left you?" Triela asked with a grin.

She liked Emma. There was something soothing about someone who was unapologetic about who they were.

Some called it 'unapologetic,' some called it 'bitchy.' Emma didn't really care either way.

"If by 'how I was,' you mean fabulous and adoring it, then yes. Everything is as it should be."

"Glad to hear it." She meant that.

"Actually... I have a favor to ask. If it's too much trouble, that's okay. Just..." Yeah.

"Favor?" Emma echoed, intrigued. "That depends, of course, on what you need."

"One of the conditions for my return to the island is that I have to get some people to... write letters for me." Okay, reports, but...

"About my condition."

"Dear men in bad suits," Emma said, pretending to write on a piece of paper. "Triela continues to be far too serious for her own good, which I hear can bring on an early heart attack. Also, please send budget so I can make her buy clothing that isn't dull. Love and Kisses, Emma."

Which meant it would be half real report, half deliberately giving Triela's people headaches on purpose. Nothing Emma did was ever easy.

Triela smiled fondly. "Poor Hilshire," she murmured in amusement.

"Mostly they'll want to know about any memory problems or mood swings I might be having," she elaborated, just in case.
