Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

In order to give people a place to get away from the traffic jam of the buffet and information tables, most of the chairs and tables had been set up further out on the lawn, away from the school building. The bonfires were going strong, and there was plenty of room for everyone to sit down and enjoy themselves. Assuming they weren't too busy still trying to figure this place out.

"Fantasy I think would be closer in my case." Leda said, not offended by the reaction. "I'm an Elf, not an alien. Though I guess you're not far off the track with some of the kids here."

She stuck out a hand. "I'm Leda, pleased to meetcha." Wow she hadn't deliberately rhymed liked that in a while.

"Leda, like the poem?" Caroline asked, shaking her hand for the briefest possible moment. "Though you probably didn't get freaky with a swan. I hope."

No but she did once have a crush on a boy who was half canine. "It started out as a derivation of Florida, which was my name when I was little. But it kind of evolved into Leda from greek mythology." she nodded. "But no, no freakiness with a swan. They're beautiful birds, but no."

Caroline didn't know how someone got Leda from Florida, but she wasn't going to ask for pronunciation specifics from an elf. "Yeah, that'd be too weird. There's no coming back to the land of normal."
