BWI Portalocity Lounge [Sunday morning]

While Ramona had seen a lot of things, and traveling by portal hadn't really freaked her out or anything, she still wasn't really feeling great about being here. Maybe making an impulse decision to go to Maryland (of all places) hadn't been her best move.

In any case, though, she was here now, and there wasn't really a reason for her to turn back without giving it at least a day or so. So she lounged against the wall under the sign for Fandom High in the lounge, her bags by her feet as she waited for the shuttle.

Hank snorted. "Aren't everyone's? I think there's a law that once you have kids, you have to be annoying and lame."

"You were kidnapped?" Sov asked, frowning. Perhaps that explained the odd behaviour.

"Yeah, loads of times," Hank told him. "But I always escaped. I'm just that good."

No, not really. Hank just had an inhumanly awesome bodyguard, and a lot of dumb luck.

Sov eyed him suspiciously, not really buying that either, but being unaware of there having been a body guard. On the other hand the whole story might be made up. They just shrugged a little. "Clearly."
