Library, [12/12]
To say that Jono was tired after a night and a day in the Labyrinth was a bit of an understatement. In fact, to say that he was still slightly dishevelled as he made his way into the library today was also way too understated to be remotely accurate.
He looked like crap. More than usual, even. But he had... obligations. To come in and clean up the results of a week of hectic research. And so, while he succeeded in at least wrapping his bandages straight this morning, he managed, still, to look like somebody who had been beaten up by a minotaur after sleeping on the ground outside in December.
Good times. Good times.
Really, it wouldn't be so bad if his hair wasn't sticking up in odd directions like that. He found himself looking a little bit like Wolverine.

Mod your library!
Talk to Jono!
Generally, he's better at this.
Re: Talk to Jono!
Knowing where Jono would be on a Sunday, she headed to the library. She frowned a little at his appearance, immediately reaching out with her gifts to make certain he wasn't injured at all. "Good morning, Jono," she said as she slipped into the library.

He wasn't going to admit it aloud, but a few aches were actually somewhat welcome, when contrasted to all of that nothing that he tended to feel, otherwise.
//I was... one of th'people who went in, the other day.//
He felt like he had to get that out in the open, up-front, considering how he'd also promised that he wasn't going to risk having his powers cut off by going inside.
Re: Talk to Jono!
"But you are back now, all of you, and that is what matters," she added softly. "I am glad you are all safe now." Though it was taking a lot of effort for her not to just fling her arms around him now.
Re: Talk to Jono!
Even he could use a hug, right about now.
//Had to do it. There wasn't any time to really... think about it.//
And he hadn't died! That had been pretty awesome, considering.
Re: Talk to Jono!
She lifted her head and raised one hand to try to smooth back his hair. "You need rest," she said.
Re: Talk to Jono!
Too many nightmares. Too much thinking to do while he was still awake. Between one and the other, he'd be tempted to start self-medicating for that, if it wasn't for the fact that the only means he really had for doing so was to start beating himself upside the head with a cast-iron frying pan.

Re: Talk to Jono!
//And can you do that in yer own sleep?//
A restful night at the cost of somebody else's almost seemed to defeat the purpose, at least to him.

Much nicer without a bog of stink-doom in the way, she had to add.
"Hey," she said, fiddling with her rings and giving him a quick nod.
Re: Talk to Jono!
He liked to get right to the point, so sue him.
Re: Talk to Jono!
Yes, she had cast Meteor on a few goblins as she left. That she could manage without losing control.
"I ... wanted to thank you," she continued. "For telling me about Professor Skywalker."
Who was responsible for a large part of the above.
Re: Talk to Jono!
If Anakin was the sort to deliver, Jono found himself momentarily wondering if perhaps he ought to follow his own advice, sometime.
Re: Talk to Jono!
The one that, to be honest, had scared her.
"He even said ... if I come back to his office hours, he could help teach me how to do it for myself."
Re: Talk to Jono!
Re: Talk to Jono!
Princess logic at its best.
"It feels like there should be a party," she added. "We saved the day, we got everyone back. But I think I'd rather sleep."

Re: Talk to Jono!
A scowl crossed her face. "We found some of them entirely by accident, down there. I suppose they'd angered him, somehow."
They had put Squall in a pit. In a dark hole in the ground and told him that no one wanted him, no one had ever cared. They had left him there. She didn't even know how long.
Had she known that when she had seen Mr. Tightpants, she would have torn out his lungs.
Re: Talk to Jono!
//I'd noticed that there were a few missing, when we made it to th'throne room,// he replied. //How is he holding up?//
Yes, he'd noticed that Squall hadn't been there. He had been looking for him.
