Library, Thursday

The past few days of research had turned up enough clues to merit a trip to Special Collections and what might hopefully be the last piece of the puzzle. Still, William thought he'd keep the library open in case anyone still wanted to look for anything that might be useful in stopping the labyrinth that had overtaken much of the island.

Or maybe you were running on coffee, nicotine patches and three hours of sleep. No one could say Sherlock wasn't dedicated to what he did.

Hopefully he'd pass out or John would drag him away soon.

After he got out of Special Collections (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/2693499.html) Henry -- a bit sweaty and sandy, but none the worse for it -- stopped by Sherlock. "Hey. How are you at figuring out what makes things weird?"

He was curious about the orange he'd saved.

"I'd say I have a modicum of talent in the area," he replied dryly. Ask a silly question, Henry...

Henry lobbed the orange at him lightly, slowly enough that it could be easily caught. "There was a huge banquet back in special collections," he explained. "Nobody ate any, but I kind of want to know what's up with that. I don't think there's a grocery store back in there."

Sherlock caught it, bringing the orange closer to sniff curiously. "I'll be in the science lab then."

Henry nodded, looking satisfied. "I'll probably still be down here when you finish."

When plans had started to be made to venture into the Special Collections for the information they needed, Raven had, as calmly as she could, requested that she go.

Current Raven values of "calm" were more like "demanded with really scary red eyes." She'd calmed down for awhile after talking with Jono yesterday (after totally freaking out for a bit, however, and babbling about Karla's bad touch), but the night had brought fresh nightmares, courtesy of her father, and she was most definitely walking a fine edge right now.

Cassidy was again in the library as soon as she was able to get to it. She was tired and she was worried, but that did not stop her from going right into research mode as soon as she got there.

Dolf was there again, or maybe he'd never left: it was hard to tell. He had his nose in a few books and was gnawing, very very slowly, on a sandwich.

Rationing, dude.

He'd be done with the sandwich by the time people took off for Special Collections, though. Have no fear.

Ellie was back at the library, ready to help any way she could, even if it meant an adventure in Special Collections. As usual, she made sure she had enough caffeine first. That was a necessity.

Cally had considered going to work today for about five seconds, and four of those were before she was fully awake.

Instead, after a very short trip outside with her dog, she was back in the library, searching an antiquated chest of drawers for paper cards that might mention a composer named J. Wreth, since neither the internet nor the library's online catalog had produced anything of use after Tuesday.

After Ben's busy day yesterday, he was back in the library to check up on any wipeboard news.

Without even a class to teach today, Angua and her clothespin were back in the library, ready to hit more books.

Not literally. That wouldn't be very productive.

Actually...

...no, not productive.

What was productive, though, she hoped, was that she brought along some reinforcement coffee for everyone.

before the trip, Henry was back in the plays section. He hadn't found the play Sarah spoke about yet, but he wasn't giving up. It has to be somewhere.
