Glee Club, Music Room, Thursday Afternoon [ 11/11 ].
"Pleeease, Alexander?"
Alexander knew there would be no swaying Ariel; yesterday, they'd gotten distracted, and he'd had a chance to forget about how utterly convincing those wide blue eyes were and how uncomfortable they made him when they looked at him like that and he fidgeted a little. "I just don't know, Ariel; it seems a little...er...um..." Cough. "Inappropriate."
"It'll be fun!" Ariel insisted, before wilting in a completely unfair pout. "And, trust me, I really, really, really need some fun right now, you don't even know..."
Curse that look! Alexander should like to think he was a bit impervious to that, but today it just made his knees (and his spine) go weak and he sighed in resignation, "Oh, okay, fine."
Which just inspired Ariel to let out a little squeal of happiness, throw her arms around him, and hug him so tight that he wasn't sure he would be able to breathe if she didn't let go soon, though it wasn't just a lack of oxygen that was turning his face red. "I owe you big time," she said, and they waited a little while for everyone to get in and have some snacks before starting.
"Okay, guys!" Ariel eventually started in, "I don't know about you all, but there's been something on my mind a lot this week and I thought it could be..." Giggle "...interesting to see how it transferred over to Glee Club. So Alexander and I worked together a little something to inspire you for today's assignment. Ready, Alexander?"
Alexander gave a depressed little groan before muttering, "I'm ready."
"Hit it!"
"Let's sing about sex, baby
Let's sing about you and me
Let's sing about all the good things
And the bad things that may be
Let's sing about sex."
It was short, sweet, and to the point, with a little bit of a dance number and it was clear which one of the two had thought the whole thing up, and which one of the two was about to spend the rest of Glee Club hiding behind his hands.
"So what do you think?" Ariel said hopefully, eager for distraction. "Got anything?"

Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
A little naughty, he could manage.
//Ever heard of Fiona Apple?//
There was a woman with a voice like chocolate and some naughty lyrics, right there.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
He tilted his head for a moment, and then started to play his guitar, to be certain that his brain was working enough to manage at least that. Apparently, it was, even if they were going to have to settle for an acoustic version of If We Kissed.
It wasn't the same as most of Fiona's usual fare. But the lyrics seemed... appropriate. To say the least.
Yes, even that 'spontaneously combust' part. Ssh.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
Electricity, eye to eye.
Hey don't I know you? I can't speak.
Stripped my senses on the spot,
I've never been defenseless,
I can't even make sense of this.
You speak and I don't hear a word.
What would happen if we kissed?
Would your tongue slip past my lips?
Would you run away?
Would you stay?
Or would I melt into you?
Mouth to mouth, lust to lust,
Spontaneously combust
The room is spinning out of control.
You act like you didn't notice, brushed my hand.
Forbidden fruit, ring on my finger.
You're such a moral mortal man.
Would you throw it away? No question.
Will I pretend I'm innocent?
What would happen if we kissed?
Would your tongue slip past my lips?
Would you run away?
Would you stay?
Or would I melt into you?
Mouth to mouth, lust to lust,
Spontaneously combust
What would happen if we kissed?
Ahhhh...
Oh
Ahhhh...
I struggle with myself again
Quickly the wall, I'm crumbling
Don't know if I can turn away
What would happen if we kissed?
Would your tongue slip past my lips?
Would you run away?
Would you stay?
Or would I melt into you?
Mouth to mouth.
If we kissed,
Would your tongue slip past my lips?
Would you run away?
Would you stay?
Or would I melt into you?
Mouth to mouth.
If we kissed.
Oehh-oh
If we kissed.
Oehh-oh...
OK, now she so wasn't thinking about singing anymore. Kissing, on the other hand....
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
Jonothon raised his eyebrows a little as he played the last few notes on his guitar.
//Very nice,// he decided. Maybe he was talking about the music!
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
She was talking about the song. Really.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
He was going to have to put his guitar down, wasn't he? But that required effort, and to move away from this current position. Oh, decisions were difficult...
//Th'lighting on fire part's not as fun as it might sound,// he offered, in a tone that probably hinted fairly strongly that he wasn't paying much attention to what he was saying, at this point.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
Wait, that sounded like a good idea. Though she should probably fight the urge to have him set the guitar aside so she could straddle his lap, right? Especially while there were teachers in the room.
The island was going to kill her at this rate. She turned her head and stretched her neck to kiss his cheek in lieu of any straddling.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
But the kiss? That was nice. The kiss could stay.
//I think we've both lost our minds,// he informed her, //but I think that's alright.//
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
"Do you have anything to do after the Glee Club meeting is over?" she asked hopefully. She didn't have anything in mind, really.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
Well, there was the droid-baby thing from Ethics, but so far, it seemed to not loathe him, so long as it had its little stuffed toy... whatever it was. Jono could make plans around a fake baby, absolutely.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
"I do not wish to steal all your time," she said, which wasn't entirely true since she would quite merrily take all of it up. "But I would enjoy spending more time with you."
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
... In all seriousness, at that. He'd probably have grabbed two or three more jobs by now, in his quest to bury himself so far in distractions that he might never see the light of day again.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
"Kitten?" Raven said. Wee fluffy kitties were powerful enough to penetrate the strongest libido, for a few minutes at least. "I had heard something on the radio about that. May I see your kitty some time?"
There was possibly a bad, but dirty, joke there.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
//You should see her sooner or later,// Jono replied, with the slightest hint of a proud cat-owner smile making little wrinkles around his eyes. //I bring Joni with me to th'shop on Tuesdays, actually. And out, generally, when I'm not going to classes or th'library or clubs. Gets her some fresh air.//
Because, let's face it, his dorm room smelled like dorm room, and like burning things.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
"Then I will have to come by the store Tuesday, if I do not see her sooner," she said. Hopefully sooner, because that would mean spending more time with Jono between now and then, and yes, she had a one track mind about that at the moment.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
//Are you free on Saturday, perhaps? Jason's got th'droid baby that day, Joni and I could pay you a visit, if you were up to it...//
Jono's kitten had gone from adorable picker-upper to... and adorable... picker-upper. Of a different sort. Poor Joni.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
She was so caught up on that idea that she almost missed Jono mentioning the droid babies. "Oh, that is right, you are in Ethics this semester," she said. "Tara and I were parents together when I took the class."
She'd glued a wee red gem to the baby's forehead.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
//How did you get through it?// Jono was a soft touch with real children, it was true. But he really had no love in his bio-nuclear psionic heart for squawky robot things. //It keeps fussing.//
And so he'd left it in his room through Glee Club, like a totally responsible parent.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
Who would want to bring a child into the world, knowing that there was a risk of them inheriting a mutation similar to the one that had blown his chest clean away?
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
But she wasn't going to dwell on that now, not when there were better things to dwell on. Like, say, Jono's eyes. "Then I will help you," she said with a smile. "Whenever it is not Jason's turn for caretaking."
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
Technically, he'd left it in his room. It was a droid. It was... Napping. Until he came back. Yes.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
...Jason was going to need to take care of the baby if they wanted to have another night like last night. Yes.
Re: Sing! -- Glee, 11/11.
No, Jono. Probably not.
