Library, Saturday - 11/6

Now that there was no more urge to sing, Blackagar was in the library. Ah, the library. Quiet and without having to deal with anyone coming in to visit.

They did that on Sundays, not Saturdays.

So, for now, he was going to shelve books. And read about something called 'musical theater'.

Someone visited on Saturdays. Really, what was interesting about the library on Sunday? Nothing, that's what. "Blackagar?"

Poking his head out from the rows of books, Blackagar waved just a little shyly. There had been a lot of kissing yesterday, you know!

Yes, she did know. She'd been there. There had also been a lot of singing yesterday.

One of those things was definitely not going to happen today.

Blackagar looked around the terribly busy library before turning back toward her. He was swamped. Utterly swamped.

"I see. Well, I'll just go, then," Medusalith said, and turned to go. Very slowly.

He was joking! Joking!

Oh sure, make Blackagar chase after her to make sure that wasn't taken seriously.

Medusalith turned back to him and smirked. "Gotcha."

That wasn't fair at all, Medusa. He hadn't even made a comment about the singing to deserve it!

Blackagar shrugged, taking the high road on this one. She might have forgotten something in her room. Or realized Lockjaw was using her bed.

Lockjaw knew better than that! She hoped. "Perhaps I left him on your bed." Mmm slobberpillow.

...he was rather fond of that pillow. Unfortunately.

They really needed to find him a room of his own. Or just a larger room for them both.

...was he advocating moving in together? Because they hadn't even gotten past tongue. She was just saying. "I don't think he would enjoy being put off in a separate room. He'd only wind up in ours anyway."

Maybe? Look, he wasn't exactly certain what he was advocating! Other than him possibly having a room without a probably not-quite-human-but-close-enough roommate to share with.

But that wasn't the subject, darn it! It was Lockjaw. And his tendency to steal their beds and wander off to the stable to see if the horses would play with him. So far? No such luck.

Medusalith certainly advocated Blackagar not living with girls. Who were not her. "I think they're scared of him, and I can't blame them. The poor stupid beasts don't know he's absolutely harmless."

It probably had something to do with that old bone he managed to drag home after his last little trip to the mainland.

See, it wasn't them who were going to ruin this whole German thing. It was the klepto dog who found a dinosaur bone.

"It's a miracle anyone believes he's a normal dog to begin with," Medusalith said. Normal dogs didn't come in XXXXXL, did they?

"I think they're very trusting, here." She paused, then admitted, "Also, possibly dim."

But, at least they had so many interesting books to read. There was a pause before he added, and music.
