201--Speech
Today is brainstormign and composition day. I'd like you to write a 5-7 minute speech on friendship. Be sure to include an anecdote about someone you consider a close friend. Include why.

301--Friendship

[The desks are all gone, the room is open. There are snacks at the front of the room]

Today we are going to touch. Friendship and intimacy is often conveyed through non-sexual sensual experience. We hug, we kiss, we lean on one another [Looks at Chip]...and we express our closeness in a miriad of ways, everyday.

Ok, so as always, no forced participation, but please move around the room talking to one another and make physical contact in some way. Skin to skin...for example, holding hands, would be best...but do only what you are comfortable with [Looks at Rory]. I'm in on this too, so don't feel like I'm putting you on the spot.

Oh, and just a note...I don't care about your grades in other classes, and whatever you may have been commanded to do by another ethical student or instructor is null and void inside this classroom.

"Hey, Rory," Elizabeth smiles at her. She still looks tired.

Rory smiles and waves. "You look sleepy."

She tries to hide a yawn. "Not been sleeping great," she admits.

Rory nods sympathetically. "Been having a problem with that myself," she says, frowning.

"I think it's contagious. Cameron's not sleeping well either," she sighs.

[Taking E by both hands] How you doing, E?

*sighs* Still not sleeping great, Professor. I've got an appointment to see Professor Dream after class to see if he can help at all.

I hope so, E. And if you need...[she looks around to make sure no one is eavesdropping]...if you need, you can stay at the TARDIS. Ten and I will help you get through this.

*squeezes CJ's hands and swallows hard* Thank you, Professor.

[Drops her voice lower] You're welcome Elizabeth...and I'm serous. When you talk to Dream, ask if he thinks it would be a good idea. And I think you need to call me CJ from now on...friend. [She wraps her arms around E and pulls her into a warm and tender hug]

*Elizabeth hugs CJ back, nodding*

[rubbing her back lightly] We'll get you through this, hon. Don't worry about that. I promise you'll come though it.

*Jack approaches Liz* Hey. Um, I'm told you were one of the ones who helped get me to the clinic the day I went psycho in here. I wanted to say thanks. *offers his hand*

*She smiles at him, and takes his hand* Not a problem... Jack, isn't it? I'm just glad you're feeling better now.

Yeah, Jack. And I am feeling much better.

*smiles* That's good.

*incidentally, he hasn't let go of her hand* *he raises it to his mouth and kisses it* So... help me out, here. Classes going okay?

*blushes slightly, but doesn't pull her hand away*

*sighs* All except ethics, yeah. How about you?

Pretty good. I got to build a lego model of Fandom High for Quantum Physics yesterday. Gotta love school, you know.

[OOC: I'm aware of Liz's problems with Ethics, but Jack isn't. Want to vent to someone or should he stay away from the topic?]

A Lego model? Oh, that's awesome. Have you still got it?

[ooc: He can touch on it briefly, if he wants. Liz has no problems venting about how she thinks the assignments wrong]

Yup. I'm building a model of Fandom Town, so I took it back with me after the class. I've got it up in the third floor common room, if you want to see ~~my etchings~~ it.

So, what's up with Ethics? I've been hearing a lot but I'm not really sure what's going on?

*grins* Oh, that's really cool. I'll have to come up and see it sometime. I've not played with Lego in... a while.

*sighs* Professor Maclay decided that a slave/master assignment would be a good idea. To try and show us that slavery's not always bad.
