"Didn't the club suck hard enough last week?" George asked. "Because this club sucks. There's absolutely no point to it. Don't anybody think for a second that I'm actually going to run this stupid club."

They were probably not under that particular delusion, no.

"You want an activity? I have an awesome idea for one. Here's next week's activity: don't show up."

This week's activity could be bitching and moaning about how stupid the club was in the first fucking place.

Let's be honest: that was going to happen every week.

The depressing thing about this--utterly useless club--was that people did show up.

Including her.

... Rosalind was certain this was an utter waste of her time and all Jono's fault.

Jenny took a drag off her cigarette and wondered vaguely why George had even showed up if she was going to be like that. Then she realized she didn't care enough to ask.

That cigarette, and the careless way she was brandishing it, officially made Jenny the coolest person here.

She shrugged in light acknowledgment of that.

Hey. Jono would probably be smoking if he was capable of doing so.

Not that he cared enough to bother pointing that fact out. Sod it.

Yes, but let's face it, Jono, Jenny would still be cooler. Because she was Jenny. And she knew it.

She shrugged and offered, "I could blow it in your face if you want."

That didn't earn much more than an upward twitch of one of Jono's eyebrows, and then a shrug.

Really, it wasn't as though it would do him any good, beyond making him smell more like smoke than he already did.

Jenny shrugged with one shoulder and went back to her better living through carcinogens.

Jenny knew it. So she kept smoking, with maybe a little cant of her wrist in acknowledgment of the acknowledgment of her coolness.

What was everyone's problem!??!? Why did anyone show up to a stupid club like this that had absolutely no purpose and was just annoying? It made no sense, and everyone who came was stupid.

Squall glared at all of them, because they sucked.

This club sucked last week. It sucks even more this week. You never should have signed up, either. Discuss.

(Or don't. I give a fuck.)

Therefore, no one should come next week (or ever again). Discuss.

Better yet, don't discuss it, just don't fucking show up.

Rosalind was just... going to sigh.

That was all this really deserved, wasn't it?

George was going to raise an eyebrow at Rosalind's sigh.

That was about all the energy she felt like putting into "replying."

Squall snorted. He bet that everyone would just show up again next week, like they had nothing better to do.

Losers.

George huffed at his snort.

If he wanted to say something, he could actually say it, and if not, he should keep his noises to himself.

Squall rolled his eyes at her huffing. He didn't care what she thought, or what anyone else thought. His snort has just been for himself, anyway, and if she wanted to actually communicate something to him, she could use words like a normal person.

George was going to try to out-glare the eyerolling.

Seriously, who did he think he was? Like she was going to be intimidated in her own fucking club (the one she hated and didn't want anyway).

Whatever.

Mmm. That.

He's all gross. And old.

Old, gross, and actually vaguely impressed. By George, George might be finally onto the fact that she's a complete idiot for having them all go through this every week.

Of course, not that Farnsworth cared or anything ridiculous like that.

Nothing good can come of it.
