As if her excitement over the first meeting of the Glee Club wasn't enough, there had to have been unicorns. Ariel barely had time to set up, what with the back-and-forth that kept happening between here giggles. She had such vivid hair, but the unicorn's was so soft! She had a lovely singing voice, but the unicorn had such dazzling eyes. So it was a good thing there wasn't much to set up. And then people started showing up.

"Hello, everyone!" Ariel greeted them brightly. "Welcome to our first Glee Club meeting! Now, I know I got a chance to talk to some of you at the Fair, but those of you who I didn't, you'll know that Glee Club is basically a club for getting together, singing songs, and having a good time. I'd like to perform on occasion, too, especially a big show at the end of the year, but that's not important right now. We can get into all that later. Right now, you should all have prepared a song that you feel works as a good way to introduce yourself! Much better than boring old 'Hi, my name is...' introductions."

"NEIGH!" said the unicorn. "You are so clever and thoughtful."

Which sent Ariel giggling a little and nodding to the unicorn. "Thank you. And you are very wise and perceptive! Anyway, if you didn't prepare a song, that's okay, too! Maybe you'll think of one on the fly, or, if not, you don't have to perform. This is a club about fun, and if you're just not feeling it, then that wouldn't be any fun, but hopefully you can have fun singing along with others."

"Any questions? If not, let's go ahead and get started! And, next week, since this week is parent's weekend, keep an ear open for song to sing that might express how that was for you! And let's not forget to give a big thanks to Mister Deadpool and Master Skywalker for being our advisors. They're really awesome for doing thing!"

"NEIGH!" the unicorn turned happily toward them. "You are so tolerating!"

"Let's get this show on the road!"

"Thank you," Medusalith said. "I guess it's passable." Then she paused and said to Blackagar, "That is, I'm...guessing it was talking to me."

It was best to think they it was meant for Medusa, yes. At least they hadn't mentioned... Germany... yet.

Being German and all.

"Hopefully that's not going to come up," Medusalith said.

She had a cunning plan that involved tackling the unicorn and choking it with her hair as soon as it started to say the words 'Germany' or 'human.' This would probably traumatize the humans around her, but she lacked cultural context.

It worked, though!

Taking a sip of his water, Blackagar looked around again. Had she signed up for any other of these little clubs? Ones in small skirts maybe?

...how did he know about that? "Well, you were looking at them," she ~~modded~~ ~~accused~~ pointed out.

He was totally just looking! Like he looked at books!

And it seemed interesting. For girls. ~~Bouncy girls.~~

Books didn't wear tiny skirts, Blackagar. "I believe the organization is for both boys and girls, actually." The boys, sadly, did not have tiny skirts. Medusalith didn't see why not.

Blackagar just had to look down at his own legs for that one.

"You have lovely calves, neeeeeigh!"

"See?" she said, looking smug. "The horse-things agree with me."

That didn't mean he was going to wear a skirt, though. The only time people would see these legs was when he wore a swimsuit, thank you.

...they should go swimming again sometime.

"I believe," she said, "there is a swimming pool in the dormitory basement."

That could work... And with everyone else dealing with their relatives this weekend, it should be free for just the two of them to use, right?

Not that he was planning anything private, mind. Just a nice evening with Medusa. In swimsuits.

Fandom was making him far too bold.

It really was, but Medusalith found the idea appealing as well. "Yes," she said, "Let's do that."

The grin she got in response didn't even need translation. Anyone could see how highly he thought of this plan.
