It might have been the start of the fall semester, but it was definitely still summer in Fandom. The sun was shining and the temperature was already starting to get high, even as the NPC crew set things up for the day.

Luckily, the school knew how to take care of folks on days like today. Beneath the blue and gold streamers and balloons, tables had been set up with cold drinks and food, and an entire section devoted to offering up different ~~moddable~~ ice cream flavors. As always, there was a stack of nametags set down next two signs: one listing the Big Sibling/Little Sibling pairings, and one listing rooms and roommates for the new students.

With everything set up and the crew out of the way, it was time for the picnic to begin!

Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"Very smart cat." Diana agreed. "Meow." Said Samuel and twitched his tail and tried to look hungry and petable.

"I'm Canadian, from 2010." Diana said. "But uh, not everyone here is from 2010. Or from Earth."

Zatanna was going to have trouble with not feeding Samuel at every chance she could. The petting would have to do.

"Oh Canada." She knew Canada. "I've seen the way some people dress, so I totally get you." She was okay with that though; perks of being raised by her father.

"Wow, is your home even weirder than mine?" Diana tried and gave in and extended her arms to let Samuel get petted.

She got a hold of Samuel, and holding him with care petted the cat to her heart's content. Cats and witches had a thing going on for a while, she knew that very well.

"My world is full of costumed people saving the world all the time", commented as if was the most common thing. "Really, and half of them aren't human." She might be exaggerating a bit, perhaps.

"Wow, yeah, you'll fit right in." Diana said. "Just stay away from the gremlins - I heard they bite and make you dance naked in public."
