It might have been the start of the fall semester, but it was definitely still summer in Fandom. The sun was shining and the temperature was already starting to get high, even as the NPC crew set things up for the day.

Luckily, the school knew how to take care of folks on days like today. Beneath the blue and gold streamers and balloons, tables had been set up with cold drinks and food, and an entire section devoted to offering up different ~~moddable~~ ice cream flavors. As always, there was a stack of nametags set down next two signs: one listing the Big Sibling/Little Sibling pairings, and one listing rooms and roommates for the new students.

With everything set up and the crew out of the way, it was time for the picnic to begin!

He was far too busy trying to absorb and categorise everything around him to freak out. The freaking out would probably come later, as a delayed reaction of sorts.

"Not yet. A fellow by the name of Robin, I believe, is who I'm after." At least he hoped it was another boy. Some of those room assignments had looked suspiciously as if their occupants were of different genders.

"I... can't actually say I know him," Chuck admitted as he tried to place the name. "It could actually be a girl. Mine is. Not one called Robin, but-- Yeah. They do that here."

"Surely you must be joking."

Please be joking?

"Oh, no they do that here," Chuck assured him. "I mean, I was a little surprised at first. But you get used to it, and Leia is really great with it, so..." He was just lucky Anakin hadn't decided Chuck was worth terrifying.

"If yours is a girl, she could be great!"

"I don't think I could- how do you get dressed?"

"Well, there's bathrooms!" Chuck pointed out. "And times when she's not in." No one could be in the room all of the time, girls were no exception.
