Gym 102, Tuesday - 8/17

It was the last day of class, so what better way to celebrate this than with horribly humiliating sports?

Just be glad he never got it in his head about uniforms, people. They'd be green and tacky and possibly involve crab shaped masks. Yeah. Thanks for that one, Kyle.

"It's your last day here, so we're gonna do something fun." Fun-ish. For Guy. "The staple of gym class, dodgeball."

It was a thing now.

"So, try not to have too much fun before break. And for christ's sake, actually give it an effort."

Momoko waved a hand. "I'll just stay there, then. You're mom will totally adopt me. Then she'll have two daughters!"

And she made a mental note to email Milagro later and remind her to keep it secret that they already sort of knew each other. She totally owed the younger teen some more pictures, anyway.

"I don't think you and Milagro would get along at all." Actually, he suspected the opposite. But that was a terrifying thought.

"You're just saying that because she's your sister, but now I totally can't wait to meet her!" Momoko bluffed her way through and hoped. "So it's this weekend? When, Friday? I have a class fifth period, and I don't want to miss it, so can we go later than that?"

She pouted up at him, with only so-so sized eyes. "But I'm always nice, aren't I, Jaime?"

She pointed to her face with mock indigence. "These are totally not the same eyes! Want me to show you the difference?"

"Ah!" Momoko was laughing from his reaction, but she'd remembered something. "There is one totally important thing I will need to know before I can go on the trip, though!"

Momoko pulled a bag of caramels from her pocket and held it out to him, without skipping a beat.

"What clothes do I pack? I mean, is it cold there now? Should I bring anything special? Am I going to need a formal dress, like I did in New Gotham? What about shoes? Do I need new sandals? Well, I totally need new sandals anyway, but you know what I mean, right?"

See? TOTALLY urgent, Must-Know Information.

"It's hot. Hot and dry. So pack... whatever you'd pack for that, I guess?" He definitely wasn't thinking about suggesting she pack a bikini. Or anything.

"Oooh! Hot and dry? Like it's been here, lately?" Then she was totally packing her swimsuit! Although maybe not the bikini, depending on how many bruises she still had left.

Momoko unwrapped one of the caramels for herself. "That's done then! Ahah! Now I can't wait for Friday!"

"Well, hopefully you won't get lost when we go." Jaime smiled just a bit. "Though I notice you may have actually learned the name of the city, so that'll help."

Momoko grinned. "How could I forget? It's the same name as that famous actor from the American gangster movies!"
