Other ideas for Parents Weekend

Marty pulls out a list of ideas that he wrote down sometime in study hall.

*Ask Rover to have a security checkpoint when parents enter the school to collect and catalog any weapons.

[OOC: Just a post where Rover stands guard in FandomHigh and all the parents have to turn in their weapons if any. Marty will be happy to help. Maybe Alanna too if she's interested]

*Have a night where all the teachers/administrators have open classrooms and the Parents can check with each professor regarding their child/ward/whatever's progress.

[OOC: This would just be a request of course to any Teacher. We could make it one big Post and each Teacher/Administrator would have their own Comment for parents to interact]

Elizabeth nods. "What about the clubs? I know JA's got their bake sale, but maybe there should be something about our extra-curricular activities... I'd say a display board, perhaps, but maybe we've left it a bit late for that."

"I like that. We could have two open houses. One for the Teachers and another for the activity clubs. They could even put on demos if possible. We can ping the club heads and see if they or members of the club would be available. If you want I can try and coordinate that. What night should we do the open houses?"

"Well, I don't know when most of the parents etc are planning on arriving... we don't really want to do too much on the Friday night if possible.

Maybe we could spare a few hours on Saturday afternoon for one of them?"
