Phoebe? I'd also like to propose that we start a volunteer student service that would allow students worried about going to town alone after dark to arrange for a pair of students to go with him or her?

"Why?" Rory asks him. Her tone indicates that she's not challenging him or trying to be obnoxious.

"Mostly to make sure that a student stays protected when they are not here at school. Rover has a pretty good control of what happens here on campus, but the FTPD has a lot of ground to cover. This way a student can be with a couple of peer and be assured a safe trip between school and wherever they might go in town."

"Especially with what happened at Spike's last week. I mean you heard about that one girl in study hall who ended up at the clinic, right?"

Rory nods, smiling grimly. "Yeah, exactly. I'll be the first to admit that I'm kind of antsy about taking Vladdie out for walks. I think this is a really good idea, Marty."
