Library, Friday - 8/6
With everything that appeared to be going on around the island, Blackagar was almost glad to be at the library where things were still in their place. Since, there was very little else he could do to assist, he was dipping into the stacks to look for any books on the subject of disappearances.
...which somehow left him with a large stack on the Bermuda Triangle.
Less than helpful, really.

Talk at Blackagar
Thanks, Marvel.

Mod your Library! (Research)

Re: Talk at Blackagar
Just as long as Blackagar wasn't one of the people it happened to, that was. So Medusa was just going to be here, flipping through books on Germany and shooting him a look every few minutes to make sure he hadn't disappeared on her. Disappearing on her would be inexcusably inconsiderate.
Re: Mod your Library! (Research)
Not a reasonable one. But she'd take an unreasonable one, at this point.
Re: Talk at Blackagar
But he was also not so covertly keeping an eye on Medusa as well. Because he'd have none of her going missing, thank you.
Re: Talk at Blackagar
"It is good to see you well this morning, my lord," Medusa said. 'And not fallen through a hole in reality,' went unspoken.
Re: Mod your Library! (Research)
Once there, he started into the aisles of books, looking for anything that might be helpful to the current situation.
Re: Mod your Library! (Research)
It was ironic, he realized, that the guy who made a habit out of disappearing into thin air was utterly useless when it started happening to other people.
Re: Talk at Blackagar
The corner of his mouth turned up in a slight grin and he nodded in response. At least this gave them plenty of time to do research on huma--American things.

Re: Talk at Blackagar
Medusa mentally slapped herself for being such a hopeless sap and corrected that to 'she could use her hair to yank Blackagar out of the hole in reality.' "I'm still working on Germany," she murmured. "America will be next, of course."
Re: OOC
Many thanks to the library staff for agreeing to let the Reserves use the space.
Re: Mod your Library! (Research)
Turns out "holes in reality" weren't in the card catalogue. Dammit.
Re: Mod your Library! (Research)
This whole thing would be so much easier if the voids weren't creating these weird gaps in her sense of smell, and she was fighting the desire to just transform and see what kind of damage she could do out there. She knew well enough that that could only be trouble...
She clung to a coffee and kept her ears perked for any sign of news. It beat dealing with the phone calls.
Re: Talk at Blackagar
...you know, beyond the everything that Blackagar wasn't aware of.
Re: Mod your Library! (Research)
Which meant she didn't take kindly to someone else attempting it.
Books, in-and-out of Special Collections, and Anemone had brought a huge basket of cookies and small cakes. Research was hungry work, and as much as she would have liked to go out dancing with their visitors, this was where she was needed.
