Annette had left and, on his way back from seeing her off, Alba had vanished back to her own time too.

It was enough to make Henry feel lonely in a way he didn't know he could get, anymore.

So he was online at the library this morning, trying to track down the best train fares to Chicago. It was past time for him to go home for a while.
