Self Defense and Kickassery for Dummies; Thursday Fourth Period [2nd. Class]
One by one the students would be dropping by on their nicely simulated dojo, only to find Faith already there, stretching. Well, at least it was better than to be greeted by a completely uninterested glance. This time as well she kept it quiet until the time for her class actually started as well; students would notice she was going through the simple kata they had been doing the last class. Being as unresourceful as she was with words, she wasn't about to misuse the few ones she had prepared beforehand; she had prepared her speeches before every class, obviously -even if she had really gotten some unfinished rantings and vague concepts written down before giving up on the idea-. Still, each student would get a small nod as a greeting, and then ordered to sit quietly on the tatami -no chairs this time, but the padded floor was pretty comfortable-, or to stretch as well; as long as they remained silent, it was fine for her.
Once the time for the class to start actually arrived, she got the group sitting in the tatami, and cleared her throat.
"And now it's time for class number two; I expect you have been training all this time."
She didn't, actually, but it was fun to make them feel guilty.
"Last time we got into the basics, and saw our first kata; was it hard? Simple? You think you can take something stronger? At least for those without experience, the approach was probably a pain in the ass." Faith smirked. "That was the idea, but for I got to see you all are more or less familiar with martial arts, which is a still kind counts no matter how little real time experience you have ever had." Oh Faith, you were such a bad, bad person. "Anyway, this second class was thought to be focused entirely on learning a new kata, but come on, you didn't sign into this class to do the same stuff all the time. So, while we will be seeing another kata indeed, and I promise this one will be more of a challenge, perhaps, I'll also test your overall fighting skills; one by one I'll be having a one-on-one with you." Malicious smiles ensued here as Faith walked around the group. "This won't be a real fight, and I'll be letting you land some attacks on me, actually, but this will serve for me to be able to point your weak spots, so you can keep them in mind if you ever need to defend yourselves. The TA is not exempt of this little excercise." Why hello, Wes, Faith was smiling at you.
[OCD,wait for it is up!]

Possibly. Venom versus Slayer constitution. Kind of a toss up.
"I'm in full control of it, though I'd prefer to not take chances if I don't have to."
Re: One on One with Faith
"Sounds like one fine idea. Put that shield all over you, then?" To teach someone that couldn't get hurt...priceless. "If you can actually do that, of course."
Re: One on One with Faith
Somehow she'd pictured this involving a lot more of her getting flung across the room or something.
Re: One on One with Faith
Re: One on One with Faith
She pulled up her shields, since Faith had insisted. They sparkled Sapphire for a heartbeat or two and then vanished. "Maybe a softer punch fist?" she suggested.
Re: One on One with Faith
Faith walked over to Karla, and extended a hand with all the intention to pinch her cheek. Not too strong, but heck if she didn't think it wouldn't be embarrassing for the girl.
Re: One on One with Faith
"You know, I would probably try to hit you just for that," Karla said.
Re: One on One with Faith
"Come on, fight with me. Don't try to end it in one move though."
Re: One on One with Faith
She let Faith poke her on the shield right over her forehead and swung. Except the punch was just a feint, and she pivoted to the side to lash out with a kick.
Re: One on One with Faith
"Okay, you hit me, but I got you. What now?" This was the only wat she knew how to teach. Well, teach.
Re: One on One with Faith
Lucivar had said, time and time again, to aim for the throat. It had a harder time dodging.
Re: One on One with Faith
She was already floating, in a way, actually, so Faith only added a twist to it.
Rubbing her throat, Faith took a bit of distance. "Good, I wasn't expecting that. You have some fine killer instinct in you." And she needed to remind herself that sucker punching the students was a bad idea. "Okay, let's put those shields to work." By the time Faith said that she was already sending a low kick at Karla's legs, trying to keep the girl on the ground as much as she could.
Re: One on One with Faith
That was less fun than one could hope. Rather than trying to get up again, Karla rolled away, trying to get a bit of distance between them.
