More tables and chairs had been set up further out on the lawn, where there weren't as many trees, and so there wasn't as much shade either. Still, it was bound to be quieter over here than closer to the main area.

"And thanks for confirming that for me. I mean, I already knew, but I like getting second opinions."

"You deserve them," he decided, taking a seat near her and smiling. "I feel like I've totally met you before, but I'd remember hanging out with a pretty girl like you. Weird. Did we have a class or something?"

No. You were small children together, Puck, and you were told that she was not buying what you were selling, then. Please figure this out at some point.

"Not that I can remember," Kennedy told him. Oh God, the internal amusement. Not to mention he sounded a little bit like her hitting on girls, so it was a whole weird sort of bonding experience. "I do have sugar-fueled memories of jumping on a couch with a loud little mohawked kid that one weekend, though. Vaguely."

"It didn't hurt," he offered, tilting so she could see better should she choose. "And it's totally awesome and attracts girls. Which," he said, furrowing up his brow as he concentrated and the light finally, finally dawned, "...you were totally the little girl who was into other little girls, weren't you? Whoops."

And now he was wondering if Kennedy was Quinn's hot lesbian big sister. Hm.
