BWI Airport | Portalocity Lounge | Saturday Morning

Madison was not pleased when she pushed open the door to the lounge with the Fandom High sign on the door. Like it wasn't bad enough that she had to deal with being dead, now Ron decided to send her to some lame summer camp so Kairos and Nakita couldn't find her.

She slumped in one of the chairs near the door. There was a black suitcase decorated with stickers sitting next to her and a dirty yellow and black backpack at her feet. Her eyes were glued to the door in search of any danger that might be incoming - in the form of dark reapers or new classmates.

"They certainly are," Wes agreed, then hastily slapped a hand over his mouth. It didn't cross his mind that most cheerleaders are aware that guys find them attractive.

"Well, yeah, that's kind of the point," Quinn said. "It's okay. It's this whole look but don't touch thing."

"Smart marketing," he mused.

"Thank you." And if Quinn sounded a bit like she thought she'd personally invented the cheerleading uniform, well, that was Quinn for you.

Wes didn't notice. The way he was looking at her, you'd think she'd invented the cheerleading uniform and everything else attractive in the world.

Quinn didn't mind that look on a boy's face, at all, ever. She smiled at him and cast her eyes down, trying to seem demure.

Crazy Wesley was her first ally. That was worth something.

[ooc: Hee! Crazy Wesley. Okay, I think this thread has probly run its course, but this was fun! We should definitely try it again. Wesley's got a cru-ush... :)]

[OOC: Hee, I really enjoyed myself too :-). I also write Tara, so I'm sure I'll be threading with Wesley again from a couple of angles!]
