Madison was not pleased when she pushed open the door to the lounge with the Fandom High sign on the door. Like it wasn't bad enough that she had to deal with being dead, now Ron decided to send her to some lame summer camp so Kairos and Nakita couldn't find her.

She slumped in one of the chairs near the door. There was a black suitcase decorated with stickers sitting next to her and a dirty yellow and black backpack at her feet. Her eyes were glued to the door in search of any danger that might be incoming - in the form of dark reapers or new classmates.

"Okay, okay, I'll let you off the hook since we just met," Madison said, clearly amused by his blushing and stammering. "But you'll definitely have to tell me that story sometime."

Alexander's palms, meet Alexander's face. Alexander's face? His palms.

"It's really not a good one," he warned her. "You'll be sorely disappointed, I promise."

Madison shrugged. Even if it wasn't a good story, it was entertaining to watch Alexander. "Do you know anything about this Fandom Island? I never heard of it until my... dad's friend suggested it."

She had no idea what else to refer to Ron as that wouldn't sound insane.

"No," Alexander admitted and, while he was glad to move on to a different subject, the reason he was here was still fresh in his mind, and his expression took on a distinctly brooding quality. "I've never heard of it. But it wouldn't be the first time I've come across an island I'd never heard anything about before. At least this one I assume they'll be able to find."

"You've been to islands where people couldn't find you?" Madison asked.

Huh. Maybe his 'kingdom' was near the Bermuda Triangle or something.

"In a way," said Alexander, "but my concern is more about a land that I myself can't find. You haven't happen to have ever heard of the Land of the Green Isles, have you?"

It never hurt to ask, right?
