Self Defense and Kickassery for Dummies; Thursday Fifth Period [7th. Class]

Usually, the students would enter the Danger Shop just to find Faith doing whatever she was doing, keeping to herself in silence until the actual class started. Usually, they would listen to her talking about a self defense fighting style, see her beating a guy without abusing of her Slayer powers, or just being told to fight here and run there.

This time it was different.

As the students entered they would find themselves in a big arena, somehow reminiscent of the roman Colosseum. The difference was that the arena itself was separated in a number of platforms, all of them floating around.

And there was a huge crowd roaring and cheering everyone on the stands.

"Last class kiddos", said Faith, who was dressed like she would dress every day if she didn't have to teach, cracking her knuckles and smirking a little too much. "Today we put on the arena what we learned all this time. You can fight against one of your classmates, against one of the pretty gladiators I've prepared, or against me. However, all bets are off, nobody is holding back here, no hard feelings later." She was still going to hold back, admittedly, but they didn't need to know that.

A number of light circles appeared on the ground, one for each student. "So make your choice and step in." She turned, but stopped, turning her head back with a grin. "And if you don't step in the circle, you'll have to deal with some pretty little pets that will be released in the arena." Suffice to say, she was going to love this class.

The Gladiator (http://www.fondosescritorio.org/images/wallpapers/38%20%5B1600x1200%5D-132377.jpeg) guy in question materialized in front of her.

Asuna's pactio card was instantly in hand and she shouted, "Adeat!"

There was a second's delay and then her Steel Fan materialized. "Sword! I was asking for a sword!"

There was a low, deep laugh on the other side of the platform. "I'll end this now, little girl", said as he launched himself at Asuna, those big metal claws pointing at her chest.

The big metal claws met resistance when her steel fan came up to parry the blow. It might look silly but it was still made of steel. Asuna countered with a kick to the gut.

Yeah, color that Gladiator pretty surprised. Before he had a chance to figure just what the hell was going on, he got the kick, sending him staggering back wards, claws waving aimlessly in the air as he tried to regain his balance.

"I can do this! " Asuna exclaimed, surprised. Then Asuna attempted to press her advantage and swung the fan at the Gladiator's head.

The hit connected alright, it even made the Gladiator's head jerk to a side, but it was far from a finishing blow. It got him pretty dizzy though, but he managed to stay on his feet, using the newly gained distance of being pushed away to regain his balance, and then charge again at Asuna, this time trying to simply crush the girl with his superior body mass.

Asuna's eyes widened when she realized the Gladiator was going straight for her. She stood there, frozen for a few seconds then in a pacnicked move, she jumped sideways, twisted around and slashed the Gladiator on the back.
