"Since your last class let you leave if you wanted--" Gunn. "--we'll be doin' something a little more intensive as the end to the session."

Yeah, that grin wasn't friendly.

"Ballroom dancing. And you can all thank Gunn for it."

Hey, dancing! Zack figured he could probably handle that, so long as people weren't too terribly attached to their toes.

He wouldn't even be too choosy about who he danced with! Mostly because, as a default, Zack loved everyone.

Roy did, indeed, know how to dance--the perils of being adopted into High Society. He pulled himself up to proper carriage and looked around for a partner.

Tim knew how to dance just fine. He looked around for a partner... and realized there were very few girls in the class. Well, he kind of knew Roy best, so that shouldn't be too bad, right? He approached Roy. "Uh..." he said. "So. Dancing."

"Indeed," Roy agreed, oblivious. "Dancing."

"So, I'm kind of used to leading when I dance, so you could follow," Tim suggested.

"You mean--dude. No," Roy said.

Tim had faced off with the Joker. He could handle one stupid, embarrassing dance with another guy, right?

Except that nobody's life actually depended on this, so screw it.

"Fine," Tim said. "Dancing's not a sport, anyway. This doesn't count."

Did Green Arrow ever make Roy dress up like a girl, or did only Robins have to do that?

Vance... probably wouldn't embarrass himself too much while dancing. At least that was the hope. He was an optimist, okay?

He's probably not gonna care much, kids.

Jaime wasn't glaring at Guy because he thought Guy cared. Jaime was glaring at Guy because he was a pompous jerk.

Not a bad guy, but a pompous jerk.

Also, while he knew it was probably his imagination, Jaime liked to think that glaring at Guy made the headaches slightly less severe.

"Get dancin', Reyes." Yes, yes he was a massive jerk.

Learn to love it, Jaime.

"I think I might hate you," Jaime muttered, continuing to glare as he sighed and turned back toward the rest of the class.

Well, he probably didn't really hate Guy, but sometimes... Yeah.

"Seriously," Gunn said looking at Guy. "You're punishing us when you skipped class to begin with?"

"I got someone to cover for me," Guy pointed out. "And it was an emergency, anyway."

"Uh-huh," Gunn replied in a dry fashion. "And you thought a kid could do your job?"

"It was called givin' you a shot."

We want naps. Many naps.
