There was, Jono reflected as he set himself up for another shift in the library today, a certain sort of upside to working in a place where he could surround himself with books. It all went hand-in-hand with his tendency to do anything within his power to look generally unapproachable, and if he sat behind the desk looking well invested with a book, the theory was that people would... Well... They would fail to approach him.

Jono's theories rarely tended to work so well.
