Laser Tag Adventures [First Period, Thursday]

Rick was nowhere to be seen as the students entered the Danger Shop today, however it was already running a program.

The lights were dim, the decor was stained, and disturbing sounds could be heard in the distance. This was no doubt going to be a cheerful lesson.

Forget the BFG, that thing had way too much lag time between shots, no matter how powerful it was. The plasma rifle and chain gun were clearly superior.

Sadly Kyle hadn't found either of them and was stuck with the standard weapon. For now. He was going investigating. There were noises coming from the next room.

This scenario reminded Tahiri a lot of some of the infiltration work she'd done with Corran and with Page's commandos in the underlevels of occupied Coruscant, actually; the creepiness wasn't a shock to her, but that didn't make it any less, well, creepy.

The main difference was that, this being a simulation, her ability to use the Force to sense what was going on around that corner up ahead was somewhat blunted. At least she could tell where her classmates were, and that was something.

She got a grip on her weapon, finger resting lightly against the outside of the trigger guard, and started moving as quietly as possible down the corridor. That wasn't difficult with no shoes on, but . . . ugh. Looking down at the floor made her wish she had.
