Dogma: Fuck It! | Wednesday | Period 1

The class was meeting back in the Danger Shop today. That, unfortunately, meant Loki couldn't sprawl on his desk but it also meant he might get a really fucking funny show depending on how things went.

"Morning!" he said jovially, grinning. "Glad to see you all made it back. Today, we're going to a fucking party."

With that said, Loki got the simulation going to reveal a rather raucous party in what looked to be someone's very expansive home. There was loud music, drinks and food and the ambiance was one of energy and happiness.

"Your assignment for today is to find someone in this crowd and pick them up," Loki told them. "I don't care how you do it but you find someone, you flirt with them and you either get their number or, if you're bold, get them to makeout with you. I don't care what anyone tells you, being with another person is one of the best fucking things you could ever choose to do. It feels fucking good and, unless one of you is shitty at it, it will always feel good even if you don't have those shitty feelings attached to it."

Emotions. Ugh.

"Don't fucking hold yourselves back," Loki advised. "You only live once, why waste it saving yourself? It's bullshit, it's inevitable that saving yourself probably won't matter and you're missing out. Don't waste your lives waiting, kids. Have your fun while you fucking can."

With that, he set them loose on the party.

Chat with each other, take notes (Loki will laugh at you), stand there and look awkward, practice your flirting, whatever!

The party is in full swing. Find that lucky girl or guy and try and pick them up!

He's around but he's not gonna help you with your flirting!

Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III

Standing and looking awkward; oh yeah, Hiccup was embracing that today. With a side order of looking a little bit nervous.

Not so much at the assignment itself, but he kept picturing Astrid's likely reaction. It was...violent, and not in the usual good way.

Okay, party. People. Girl type people. Find one, talk to her. This wouldn't be so bad. He would just neglect to mention this particular class when he wrote home.

Hiccup cautiously approached a tall, pale, blonde girl, leaning against a wall, looking bored. Bored was good.

"Hi there." He gave a little wave. "I'm Hiccup, mighty viking."

A raised eyebrow. Maybe a tiny smile.

"That's right," he continued, encouraged. "Mighty viking. I've even got a pointy hat, but I left in my other pants."

The tiny smile disappeared. Her gaze drifted over his shoulder. Time for desperate measures.

He lowered his voice, leaning a bit closer. "So, do you want to see my dragon?" The look she gave him was deeply incredulous, both eyebrows hitting her hairline. "It's big," he continued, gesturing in the air. "You could ride it if you wanted, everyone loves riding my dragon."

And now he he was wearing a drink on his head. "What did I say?" he called after her retreating form.

There was coke dripping down his face, puddling in his tunic, and gluing his hair to his scalp. "That went well."

Raven

Raven just stared. She did that a lot in this class.

"I have a boyfriend," she stated. "And I do not 'pick people up.'"

Raven just stood awkwardly off to the side, wtfing at this class.

*snerk* Feel free to throw someone at Raven, otherwise she's just going to hide omg.

Didi

Helen Haras-Uquara

Helen was very good at picking up ~~NPC's~~ random people at parties. At least when she wasn't at Fandom.

She smiled at a likely looking guy and it didn't take long before they were finding a dark quiet corner to do a little making out.

Effy Stonem

See, there was a reason Effy had been all confidence about her ability in this class. She was good at this. Most at home in the middle of a party. The wilder the better.

Making out with fake NPC people felt a little wrong, somehow (and besides, wasn't sure if that counted as going against her... okay, she'd call it a thing), but that wouldn't stop her from finding someone to dance with.

Didi frowned during the lecture. Jono was one thing, but she was pretty certain this simulation involved a situation she'd never actually be in.

She decided to treat it as an acting exercise.

Didi was doing her usual party thing -- standing off to the side, looking vaguely pleasant (in a We Are Very Goth way) as she scoped out the room. A cute guy who reminded her vaguely of Sexton leaned against the wall next to her, smirking at the room in general. Didi rotated to face him. "So," she said, conversationally, "I'm Death."

He rolled his eyes. "Why do the weird chicks always talk to me?"

It was safe to say Didi had struck out. It might have even been intentional.

Robin Goodfellow

Robin blinked at the assignment, and stared at the party that appeared.

"Heh, is it real, or is it fake? If it's fake... hmm." He tapped at his chin thoughtfully and then shrugged. "No guts, no glory." Off he went into the crowd.

Robin sidled up to Hiccup, and offered a napkin. Well, two napkins, hey they're small.

"Okay, you've not done this before, have you? You have to assume that you're not in your world. 'Cause you're not." Robin paused to laugh, "The way you said riding your dragon... she thought you were offering a ride on li'l Hiccup, you know?" He gestured in Hiccup's groin area. "Never a good way to start a pickup."

Robin wandered the party for a time, pausing to grab something to munch on, and something to wash that down. Then he wormed his way onto the dance floor, and after a quick glance at how everyone else around him was moving, starting moving in a decent imitation of the latest dance.
