Physical Education, 4th Period - 5/10

Ah, the gym. Nothing quite beat having to show up there during the summer months in order to be ~~yelled at~~ taught all about the joys of exercise and sports that no one really cared about.

"Good afternoon," Guy said, already rubbing his forehead ~~if Jaime was there~~ at the building migraine. He wasn't gonna let some stupid bug stop him from teaching, though. "An' welcome to gym class. We're gonna start off nice an' easy today because it's the first day of class."

He picked up nice, red, bouncy ball and tossed it in the air a few times.

"Just a few questions and then you can use the time to get ta know your classmates." Before the carnage. "Name, class, why you're here... anything else you wanna share. Go for it," he said, palming the ball to point with it at someone at random.

"I'm Guy Gardner. Call Mr. Gardner if you really hafta, got it?"

Then, tossed the ball at some poor student at random. "Next!"

And introduce yourself, then toss it to the next person.

Robin caught the ball and peered at it curiously. "Name's Robin, and I'm here to keep myself in decent shape. Not a whole lot to talk about right now really.". He grinned and whipped the ball low at the nearest classmate.

Kennedy snagged the ball on one bounce and tossed it up and down in her hand.

"Name's Kennedy," she said with a casual lift of her chin. "I'll be seventeen next week, I've been training to fight pretty much my whole life so any time I can get school credit for doing what I do anyway it's kind of a bonus."

She juggled the ball from one hand to another a few times, adding, "I like good food and pretty girls, I have a stupid addiction to mystery novels, and I'm officially over this sharing thing now so anything else, you'll have to ask."

On that note, she whipped the ball sidearm toward the next person, not all that gently.

Obnoxious little showoff.

Tim didn't so much catch the ball as let it hit him and then grab it. "Ooof!" Wow, she could throw. "I'm Tim Drake. I'm a sophomore, I'll be fifteen in July and my dad thought I should have a P.E. class." He shrugged and tossed the ball underhand to the next person.

Gunn caught the ball and spun it around his hands as he talked. "I'm Gunn, a senior and from LA. I'm taking this class because how fucked up could a gym class actually be?"

And then he tossed the ball along to the next person.

Roy grabbed the ball out of the air as it headed toward him, said, "I'm Roy Harper, I'm a senior, and I'm trying to get back in top shape so here I am." He winged the ball at someone else without actually looking, though his aim was impeccable.

And Zack caught the ball without paying much attention, himself!

"I'm Zack Fair! I'm going on into my senior year, now, and I'm taking this class because..." He pursed his lips a little, thinking on that. And then he shrugged. "Because I can't sit still for more than ten minutes at a time without getting squirmy anyhow, so it made sense when I was looking at the course calendar!"

And then he was winging it off at whoever was next, perhaps a little too hard. Sorry about that.

Goose was probably rather grateful that at least there wasn't any fault with his reflexes because he managed to catch the ball that had been thrown rather hard at him, "I'm Shane Gooseman, Goose," he said, "freshman, I'm here because my guardian signed me up for this class but I also like keeping in shape," then he threw the ball to the next person.

Jason caught the ball and bounced it as he answered. "I'm Jason Todd, and I'm almost 15," he said. "I'm here because my guardian signed me up for the class, but I don't mind 'cause this stuff's better than reading or anything like that." He figured that was enough to throw the ball to the next person.

Vance caught the ball easily and held onto it, just to make sure anyone who cared could actually hear him. "I'm Vance Astrovik. I'm seventeen and I'm here because I want to make sure I keep in shape."

He threw a bounce pass with both hands toward the next person.

Because that wasn't suspicious at all.

Gunn was there. In a mingling kind of mood... and also wondering if they were going to do anything other than talk about themselves today.

Oooh, mingling things. Zack could do that. With a bit of a bounce in his step, even. Because, hi, physical education class! Hi, people in it!

... He was in a good mood today, so sue him.

Who is there. And totally not enjoying being in a gym again. On earth. That was a kinda important qualifying factor.

Blegh. Stomach hurts.

It's probably because of all that blood you're vomiting.
