Ben shook the offered hand. "Ben. Nice to meet you. You look a little like someone famous at home."

"Do I?" Christian had never heard that before, and it was a pleasing kind of novelty. "I hope he's at least famous for something good ... where is home for you?"

Ben sounded like, he, at least, might be English.

Ben's smile grew. "Not exactly. How much have you heard about this place today?"

"The dorms aren't bad but we have communal washrooms. Also, my hat -- I took it off -- was out of fashion."

Alex Karev had not been the most useful of buddies, no.

"And I might be a hundred and 15 years in the future?" Christian said. "That part doesn't make any sense, so I'm trying not to let it break my brain."

"I wouldn't want to be told too much at once and end up a gibbering mess my first day," Christian said. "What do you think I need to know, then?"

Christian nodded slowly. "As long as they all think good things about me it shouldn't' be too much of a problem," he tried gingerly.

"Obi-Wan Kenobi was a legend," Ben said with a smile. "I was named for him. He was a friend of my father and grandfather."

"I don't think anyone ever asked," Ben said with a chuckle, "but I prefer Ben. Obi-Wan Skywalker would just be ridiculous."
