Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

The weather was still lovely, of course. And there were all these neat tables of moddable snackies to help break those awkward silences that were so common with teenage get-togethers.

"I...I don't know, I'd probably assume he had his reasons," Sam said uncertainly. "He hasn't hidden anything from me in a really long time though."

"Yeah, probably because he trusts you," Chuck said. "You hiding stuff from him, it kind of comes off like you don't think he can handle it. It's a blow to the ego, you know?"

This was the second time in two days Chuck had to talk about trust issues regarding Dean. He was beginning to feel bad for the guy.
