The weather was still lovely, of course. And there were all these neat tables of moddable snackies to help break those awkward silences that were so common with teenage get-togethers.

"Since July of last summer," Bobby informed him. "The camp part's pretty cool, as long as you don't mind living in really close quarters with seven other people."

"Please tell me the camp at least has flush toilets," Tim said.

"They're actually pretty swank, except for the lack of real bedrooms thing," Bobby had to admit.

"Cool," Tim said. "I went to one camp where all the kids had to use outhouses. I think it was supposed to be character-building."

"Ewwww," Bobby made a face. His own actual camping experiences hadn't been much better (Monster Island, anyone?), but he couldn't exactly mention that. "So, other than people demanding you strip, how's Fandom treating you so far?"

"I managed to get detention already," Tim sighed.

"That was fast," Bobby noted. "You some kind of troublemaker?"

"Not usually!" He didn't make the trouble. It just found him. "It was the vice-principal, Deadpool. I kinda treated him like a crazy person."

"Yeah. But someone made him vice-principal. How did that happen?" Tim asked.

"I wish I knew," Bobby admitted. "When we got detention, he made me and my friends build a playset for his kid." Okay, so Jan wasn't technically Deadpool's kid, but... close enough.

"Well, technically the mayor has a kid, and he and the mayor are, like... together or something," Bobby clarified.
