The weather was still lovely, of course. And there were all these neat tables of moddable snackies to help break those awkward silences that were so common with teenage get-togethers.

"I know what you mean," Goose said with a nod, he could relate to that, "what type of classes do they have here?" he had been curious as to how the education system worked at Fandom, wondering if they would be anything like the type that he'd had at Wolf Den.

"Most of them are practical. I've taken classes on weapons, strategy, cooking, stuff like that. Stuff I can use. What kind of stuff do you wanna learn while you're here?"

Goose's eyes lit up at the mention of weapons, maybe the school wasn't going to be that bad after all, "my guardian signs me up for my classes so he would have picked courses that were practical for me, mostly courses that will benefit going into the military,"

"I don't know how much luck you'll have over the summer, but during the regular school year there's usually plenty of classes for that kind of thing. A lot of students are military or planning to be. What kind of service are you going into?"

"I'll be enlisting as a Galaxy Ranger as soon as I meet the age requirement," Goose said in response.
