So everyone else had, like, dramatic backstories and reasons to show up here and stuff. Which was fine, you know, if you were emotionally in the zone enough to go to those kinda lengths. Denise had just been, you know, chilling with her dad last night watching some hockey guys really pound in on each other - no, seriously, really get into it. One of them broke a rib or something, which was kinda cool.

Then she'd been dropped off at the airport, gotten a ticket stuffed into her hands, and that was that. No reason to get all dramatic and touchy-feely about it.

And now it was Saturday morning and she was on the airport. Sitting around. Chugging water and listening to her discman while watching the kids down the hall, trying to figure out how they were gonna croak. Sure, there was some kind of shuttle supposed to show up, but it wasn't there yet. A girl had to keep herself busy.

She figured the dweebs starting to mill around the terminal were probably classmates or something. Lame.

"Ooooooo. Pretty mask!" Dandelion cooed. "Are we going to rob liquor stores on the way to school?"

"That comes later," Deadpool replied off hand. "...why, didja need a forty?"

"Yes but can I get it in a twenty and a ten a five and five ones?" she asked hopefully.

"No, they are completely out of singles. What next? What next?"

"Oh. Then I'll just take a six pack," Dandelion said with a sigh. "Can I wear your mask?"

"No, no you may not," Deadpool replied. "You can get your own."

"I'll give you my non-existent six pack?" she offered.

"Not even for fictional booze."

"I've got a shiny quarter!" She said holding it up to glimmer in the light.

Of course that was actually a nickel. "Can I least rent it?"

"Shouldn't you and your twin over there be freakin' people out?" Deadpool asked, pointing over at Delirium.

"She's not my twin!" Dandelion said looking over at Delirium. "Though I love her hair for some reason."

She paused and pondered.

"I know I've seen that hair before. I just can't put my finger on it."

She says as she scratches her head.

"...yeah, you're twins."

"We are?"

She paused and looked at Del and then back at Deadpool.

"I don't see the resemblance."

"It's a spiritual twin thing," Deadpool replied. "Like those Young Avengers."

Dandelion turned and gave Del a good hard, long look.

"... Hmmm."

Followed by an even longer and harder look.

"Nope. Don't see it. I like the young avenging thing. Can I avenge things? I'm good at it. I can even use DEADLY FORCE."

"Only if one of you is the good one and the other is the amoral one."

"Which one gets to play guitar and sing punk rock?"

"...which one of you is more Marie? I can see you as Donny, though. Not gonna lie."

"Ooo. Tough call. I'd love to be on QVC selling scary looking dolls," she said thoughtfully. "On the other hand? Mormon."

"Exactly! Who doesn't wanna be in a cult?"

"Ooo! Ooo! Do I get to wear bed sheets for clothes?"

"Only if you bring the Koolaid."

"OH! Kool-aid!" Dandelion exclaimed. "I can do that! I'll bring the pumpkin flavor!"
