Surrounding the room are a series of small bank vaults.

"Today kids we are going to see how you guys do pulling a houdini. You are all going to be tied up with rope and locked in a bank vault that is currently under constuction. Your goal is to get out of the ropes and break out of the vault. If you wish to partner up with someone you may, or you can work on your own."

Each of the vaults have:
safety deposit boxes - filled with typical stuff you would find there
An oxygen tank
A toolbox with your standard tools
A drill ((Not able to penetrate vault door, walls or lock. Can puncture safety deposit box locks))
A chair
((No power tools available. No cutting torches or welding equipment feel free to add anything you might find in a bank vault))
Of course you will have your virtual Swiss Army Knife and Duct tape with you.

For next Tuesday, you will be required to make a homemade smokescreen to use as a means to escape detection. Please make a list of the items you require and we will replicate it here in the Danger ~~Room~~ Shop.

Sam? I want you to come up with an in-class assignment for next Thursday.

Kitty? Please arrange a time to work with Cally to train her on to use the Danger ~~Room~~ Shop Technology.

::grabs the chair and the toolbox, and hands the drill to Anders::

This might take a bit, but we'll get out eventually. ::pulls out hammer and chisel from the toolbox, and starts chipping away around the vault door frame::

I think, if we weaken the structure enough, we could do that whole oxygen tank ram idea to knock it out, okay?

Who says class can't be fun too? *grins* Oh, right. Different fun.

*takes the drill to the door frame*

Frak, I don't think this is gonna work. *frowns at the drill* Tip's getting all chewed up.

::looks at where she's been chiselling::

Yeah, I'm barely making scratches, myself.

...Frak.

You got an idea? I don't have to be the brains all the time. ::smile::

*scratches his head*

Maybe there's something in the safe that we could use.

*amused* Maybe there's a toaster in there . . .

::mock-scowls and punches Anders in the arm::

In the deposit boxes? ::scratches her head::

Well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to check, I guess...

*grins and makes kissy-faces at Cally*

Okay, let's see. Hope this drill isn't too frakked up to do the job.

*Takes the drill to the safe-deposit box. It's slow going since the drill bit is kind of chewed up, but it eventually gets through.*

Okay, I don't think gold is gonna do us much good here. We might have to try and blow up the oxygen tank instead. ~~Wanna make out first since we might die when it blows?~~

*makes kissy-faces right back*

Right.

::looks at the chair, the tank, and the toolkit::

So, how about we wedge the tank over my the door with the chair, and we build a pully system froom the rope that we were tied up with and the duct-tape, and we drop the hammer on tank valve from a safe distance that way?

*makes more kissy-faces and is generally sickeningly cute* See, I told you you were the brains here. Sounds like a good idea. I can't think of anything else.

*gets to work gathering the rope and rigging together a crude pulley system with the rope and the handle off the toolbox*

We might need a little more weight to drop just to make sure the tank blows, you think? *Duct tapes together a couple of gold bars and then tapes the hammer to them, the claws angled down. Attaches the entire thing to the end of the rope.*

::rolls her eyes, smiling::

Alright, good thinking with the extra weight. ::wedges the tanks against the vault door with the chair, valve exposed::

Now, we go as far as the rope will let us, and then we drop the hammer, got it? ::starts walking away from the tank and the vault door::

Yeah. Maybe we should get behind the far side of the safe-deposit box over there for extra cover.

*waits for Cally to get to cover, hauls the length of the rope back as far as it'll go (hoping it won't break) and lets it drop, running the rest of the way across the vault for cover as soon as he lets go*

::grabs hold of Anders as he comes by her, and braces for the loud explosion as the tank blows and knocks the vault door off its hinges and crashing out::

We did it! ::grins, then gets on her toes and kisses Anders::

Hey, I thought you said fun after class. *grins, but kisses Cally back anyway and doesn't argue* Good thinking.

Hey, couldn't have done it without your help, champ. ::smiles back, and hugs him::

*hugs Cally tight*

Hey, should we ask Mac about working on the Pyramid court? Maybe he could sponsor the team . . .

Yeah, why not. Bio's cancelled today, so I'm free the rest of the day, actually. ::smiles::
