Outdoor Fitness and Strategy [Monday, Period One]

The class had received an email telling them to meet at the Danger Shop and to bring a set of bathers. Inside was an idyllic beach, probably somewhere in the Bahamas, judging from the clear blue waves and the white sand.

A number of nets with courts marked with witches' hats were set up on the beach, along with a number of balls. "Given the weekend, we'll be having another easy class this week," Bond said, tossing a ball to the nearest student. "Pair up for some pick-up games of beach volleyball, or if you'd prefer to stay away from team sports, you can practice your swimming."

Kyle was definitely giving off a 'no touchy' vibe today. He wasn't taking off his coat, even though the situation clearly called for it, and he kept diving his time between walking down to the water and then back to look at the volleyball court without actually really doing anything.

Rose got to class quite a bit late. She hadn't checked her email since Friday either so she was just wearing normal training clothes. Well, normal training pants and a way oversized shirt since someone (her) had forgotten to stash clean clothes at the gym last time she'd changed into them.

Which was great, yeah.

Rose tugged her fingers back through her still-tangled hair. "Yeah?" she tried. "Or - I fell asleep and forgot to set one."

Which was technically the truth.

She glanced up at him, hearing the amusement there. "I figured - I mean, I thought it was already set. But then yeah, it was late. I'm sorry."

"Try not to let it happen again," Bond said, then added because he was having too much fun with this. "Though if you're already late, you can at least take a few more minutes to get changed into clothing that fits."

Oh, yes, that was Rose blushing a lot at the comment. Dammit, so embarrassing, and it had to be a teacher she liked and didn't one to bitch at.

"I'll just not be late," she said, pulling a face as she tried to make herself stop. "It'll be fine." Normally she had training before class anyway so.

"Hey, you don't know, Mr. Bond," she managed to shoot back, smirking a little. "I might just really like a lot of room to move in when I sleep."
