"I think you've all had your fair share of horror last week," Mitchell announced, "But I'm fairly sure half your teachers are going to give you movie classes now, so I thought I'd try and get creative."

Fear, class. Fear.

"That's why we've gathered in the Danger Shop today," he continued. "I thought it would be nice for some hands-on practice. See, we've got all of these fears we're working on and working with, but many of them, as I've said, come down to what we fear in ourselves."

A pause.

"These things tend to start in childhood," he said, "And work their way up. So today, we are going to be regressing."

He opened the door behind him and revealed--

"Today, you're going to Eurodisney!" A pause. "I'll be expecting at least two of you to get into a fight," he said, solemnly. "If you do, use something padded."

A beat, in case they thought he'd completely lost it-- "If you need me this week, I'll be spending most of it in Bristol. So use the phone."

And that would appear to be it.

"Jack," she greeted, tilting her head at him. "I suppose it's lovely, in that I can go outside to get more cigarettes without risking life and limb, although I must confess that I would be happier with more sunshine and an afternoon on the beach rather than spend my time in a fake Disney park."

Jack squinted at a sign. "That says this is le plus hereaux lieu de la terre, the happiest place on earth," he informed her. "A beach would be pedestrian."

He would have taken a real beach too, though.

"Roller-coasters are pedestrian, darling. A beach is divine," she chided, gesturing for him to sit and join her. Emma was still pale from the exertion of her 'adventure', but the bags under her eyes were faded to almost nothing and she seemed much cheerier. She still wore the earrings and bracelet from Karla, though, just to be safe.

"Do you really think this the happiest place on earth, Mr. Priest?"

"Nowhere close," Jack said, without missing a beat. "It doesn't have nearly enough dancing girls in it, for one."

He didn't overlook the paleness or the bracelet, but it seemed like treating Emma like an invalid would do nothing but upset her. Better to stay close without explanation.

"'Dancing girls?'" Emma echoed, raising an eyebrow at him. "This is a family park, Jack, not a saloon."

Jack lowered his voice. "Alex," he began, "is feeling a bit low. I promised him I'd ask you to perform a routine for him to speed his recovery."

"You're trying to appeal to my better nature," Emma noted, "Which won't work, because I already broke my head once this week while doing a good deed for my fellow man. I've sworn off attempting to be 'nice' or 'helpful' in the interests of self-preservation, which is my favorite interest of all."

Jack pouted at her. "I don't suppose I could change your mind through naked bribery?"

He did, in fact, mean 'naked.'

"Ah, propositions. An arrangement of equal exchange. Now you're on the right track," she smirked. "Make an offer, Mr. Priest."

Laughing, Jack leaned closer yet and spoke in a very low voice.

Handcuffs might have been mentioned, along with a promise to be a very good boy or a very bad boy, whichever Miss Frost preferred. He was succinct but imaginative.

Emma made a face and swatted at him. "Highly improper of you to say such things during class," she scolded, blushing slightly. "Simply horrible."

She was almost tempted to use her telepathy to get back at him, but another nosebleed would not be very attractive.

"Throw in some chocolates, and you have a deal. What's he so down about?"

"I don't rightly know," Jack admitted. "Radio mentioned a few fights. He says a hangover."

"With Alex, it could be both," Emma pointed out. "They aren't exactly mutually exclusive."

"Dancing is right out -- I still make myself a bit dizzy -- but I suppose I could manage a cheer or song of some sort."

"That's my girl," Jack told her. "Go, cheer. Or sing. Whatever you can do without making your brain explode."

Emma gave him one of her Looks as she stood up to head over to Alex. So not 'his girl' or anything like that, thank you.

"I'm only doing it because you bribed me and asked nicely," she called back. "So don't go getting any ideas."
