There had been more uncomfortable places to wake up than on a couch in an empty warehouse, and she'd actually liked the outfit, Gabrielle had to admit. It all seemed like a very interesting and helpful profession even if the whole past-lives thing sounded strange, and something about the entire situation felt slightly off in a way she couldn't pinpoint.
Which was why, in between her other duties, Gabrielle's choice of reading material was on the subject of reincarnation. Not that this would save her from future-life-visiting trauma two seasons from now. As the enraptured look on her face might indicate, the subject had definitely caught her fancy.
