Modeling for Dummies, Thursday 2/18/10

"Next week is spring break and we all know what that means, right boys and girls and maybe something in betweens I'm not judging except for when I am because it's fun," Deadpool said, fiddling with a DVD case in his hands.

There was even that small, awkward pause that normally only appeared on Dora the Explorer for kids to get their brains together and stop bouncing around to bippy music or whatever they did these days.

"That's riiiiight! It means Deadpool forgot to write you a midterm! Yaaaaay!" Oh, the fake glee was fun. "So, instead, you all get punished with this classic Lindsay Lohan and Tyra Banks movie about what happens when writers take acid. Won't that be fun?"

A beat.

"Yeah, I don't care. Gleam something educational from it and you get a gold star."

Hannibal...would just be over here, daydreaming. It was a lot more entertaining than watching his crapfest of a movie. Spring Break was a lot more fun to think about.

And Katchoo was just going to draw, the entire period. What, you thought notebooks were for writing in? Pssssssssht.

"...Oh, Tyra."

It was fucking eerie, is what it was.

At least it was kind of mockable?

... Yeah, it didn't take long for Angela to figure out why she'd never heard of this one before.

Which didn't mean she wasn't watching anyway. Free movie time in class was not something she turned down, no.

Warren was going to watch the movie. Because he'd been told to watch the movie.

It was kind of akin to 'and would you jump off a bridge if you were told to?' in that regard.

Um, yeah, Claire was just gonna sit and boggle at how terrible this movie was.

Unlike most classes where he saw movies, Sam had no problem paying absolutely no attention to this one, and focusing on his own thoughts instead.

Hannibal was there, still ignoring the movie and wondering just how cracked Professor Wilson really was to make them watch it.

My dad loves this movie. True story.

That was Tyra Banks? I loved that movie way too much when I was wee and tiny, to my parent's not enjoyment. (Possibly because I saw it about 20 times. In three months.)
