Drake had on extremely tight leather pants for today's class. They were so tight you could tell what religion he was, if demons had religion. When the class had settled in, he snapped his fingers to start some clips rolling.

"Today we're going to talk about the Power of Luuuuuuuuurve," Drake began. "In the movie Krull, the evil Beast with a capital B and his equally evil army invade the planet Krull. Two rival kingdoms decided to form an alliance by marrying their children in the hopes that their combined forces can defeat the Beast. Fortunately, Prince Colwyn and Princess Lyssa seem down with idea, which is good because arranged marriages can be so awkward. Anyway, during the wedding ceremony, the Beast attacks, kills lots of people, and kidnaps Lyssa.

"Of course, Colywn wasn't going to stand for that, so he gathers up the usual band of misfits and hunts down the Beast. There's fighting and people dying and Colwyn finds Lyssa. He fights the Beast but isn't having much luck. ~~Xena would totally do a better job with that Glaive.~~ Lyssa comes to the realization that the power of their Luuuuuuuuurve can destroy the Beast, and she starts to finish the interrupted marriage ceremony. So they say their vows and Colwyn destroys the Beast and they all escape the Beast's fortress and live happily ever after."

"So what do you think?" Drake finished. "Can love defeat evil? Or is that just a fantasy?"

It was entirely possible they were going to end up creeping each other out by intensively not looking at Drake.

Not looking not looking not looking.

"I think he probably is." Beat. "Okay, why does it weird me out that I said that?"

"Because that's just generally a really, really weird thing to say about your teacher's tight leather pants?"

So was anything that contained the phrase 'tight leather pants,' at the moment. Not helping.

"So is even referring to your teacher's tight leather pants."

Pardon Warren for just a moment. He had to clap a hand over his eyes and groan.

"I know."

"Can we just please find something else to talk about other than Drake's--?"

She caught herself just in time, and just made a vague hand gesture in Drake's general direction.

"The other Drake, the one of the Bobby persuasion, wants to get me into tights," Warren shared.

It was perhaps not a good topic swap. This was one of those conversations that was difficult to stray from, apparently.

Well, at least Kate thought it was hilarious. Although now she was having to try not laughing too loudly.

"What? Why?"

"He says it's because they're more aerodynamic." Warren stole a glance at Drake.

He regretted doing so, and there went his hand over his face again.

"I don't believe him anymore."

"Don't look!" Kate hissed, just a second too late.

"... I still don't get it. Why tights? Does Bobby have a fetish I didn't know about?"

Warren shook his head a little, and if he squeezed his eyes shut any more tightly, he was going to have to open them with a crowbar.

"I don't know," he replied. And then, a moment later, because the image of Drake's bulge was seared into the back of his retinas forever, he repeated himself, in a slightly more emphatic whisper. "I don't know."

Kate reached to pat him on the arm.

"Shhh. Happy thoughts, Warren," she whispered. There was laughter in her voice; the kind of gleefully evil laughter that came with not having been dumb enough to look again.
