Library [02/07]

It had taken every ounce of willpower for Jono to drag his sorry self out of bed, stumble down the stairs of the dorms and get himself off and away so that he could open up the library. Mostly on time.

It wasn't the most graceful sort of trek, no. He was tired from yesterday, and suffering what he was fairly certain was some sort of hangover-by-proxy courtesy of his roommate.

But libraries were quiet. Blissfully quiet.

And so, once he'd flopped backward into his seat and then pretty much faceplanted the rest of the way into the desk, he was going to just spend the next few hours appreciating that fact.

His great-granddad told him that there would be days like these.

His great-granddad never mentioned that there were days when he would kill just to be able to swallow an Aspirin.

Noon

Not eating.

Thankful also that he can't get sick at the thought of eating.

It was a merry sort of trade-off that way, wasn't it?

Now that Jonothon feels slightly less like refried ass, he's actually making an effort to catch up on whatever work he didn't manage to get done this morning while his face had been mashed up against the desk.

Henry was there; he was even relatively cheerful, all things considered, and he decided not to disturb Jono as he settled into his office with a pricing guide for some books he was thinking about ordering.

I love that band. So freaking much. And have listened to that song and watched that video probably upwards of fifty times since I stumbled over it yesterday.
