The Club Fair - Gym - Friday Afternoon 2/5/10

It was the day of the club fair, so of course Jean was going to be there bright and early to make everything was set up like it should be. What kind of over-achiever would she be without that?

So, the gym was neatly set up and ready for everyone to arrive and look over what new and old clubs there were this semester.

Sam was taking a break from the cheerleading table to see what other clubs were around when the name of this club caught his eye. "Hey, are you the one in charge here?" he asked, smiling at Emmett.

"...I guess I am." Emmett hadn't quite thought of it that way. "I suppose there's a first time for everything. I'm Emmett, and you're taller than me, which is impressive." His was not a manly handshake-offer.

"I'm Sam, and it's nice to meet someone almost as tall as me," he said with a laugh. "I could have used a group like this a year or so ago. I'm glad someone's finally getting something like it off the ground."

"You say that like you think I've got any idea what I'm doing," Emmett replied, though not without a wry smile.

"I figured you wouldn't be sitting here if you didn't think you could at least develop an idea of what to do," Sam said.

"I do have a creative mind," Emmett allowed. "Among other parts." Look, he was physically incapable of not flirting. It was just a thing.
