Junior Achievers Meeting

Outside of Dr. Carter's classroom is a neatly handwritten sign which says:

The door to the classroom is wide open. Inside Angelus sits at one of the front desks. He is busy writing in his notebook. Anyone who peered over his shoulder would see words like "Master" and "slave" in his handwriting. He is also humming a cheery tune.

On Dr. Carter's desk is an open box of peanut butter cookies from Deb's diner. There is also a sign-in sheet.

"Hookay, backing off this conversation right now," Angelus said. "I like you more than I give a damn about her. Which is admittedly a strange sentiment from me but there we are. Officially crossing that topic off the discussion list and forget I mentioned it. Sheesh. ~~Can't you see that I love you, you fool? I'll treat you better than she ever will!~~"

"She's not like that," Belthazor protested. "You just don't know her. ~~Sure, you say that, but then I catch you subtexting with someone else, you cad!~~"

"I know that all I see out of your relationship with her is that she makes you unhappy," Angelus paused, listening to the words coming out of his mouth. "And that now I sound like somebody out of a soap opera, which is funny because I don't eat out of the cafeteria. But hey, you tell me she's what you want and I want you to have her. Hey, I got ignored by the girl I was only pretending to be interested in for the sake of pretending I was interested in someone. Other than the 4..5... okay possibly 8 other people that I'm currently sleeping with, who's offering me comfort? Huh? Hum? Huh?"

"She does not make me unhappy," Belthazor said defensively. "In fact, just yesterday we were talking about her moving back to the dorms and staying with me. I'm going to talk to housing tomorrow. ~~How do you keep up with that many? Vitamins?~~"

"Good. Great," Angelus nodded his approval. "How'd you swing it? And did you ever find out who was sending the you-know what? ~~Vampire stamina. Live it, love it, baby.~~"

"We just talked," Belthazor said. "Guess I finally got her to see my way. Still don't know about the flowers, though." He frowned.

"She still getting them?"

"Not today that I know of," Belthazor said.

"Suppose that's a positive sign," Angelus said. "Or proof that Jayne was too busy getting into fights at Flight Club to remember to place the order."

"Good point," Belthazor said, a grin returning to his face. "Just more evidence that it's him behind it."

"See?" Angelus grinned back. "I am nothing if not eager to give you a hand. ~~Specifically on certain body parts.~~"

~~Don't hate! Angelus occassionally likes a little something different on the side~~
