Outside of Dr. Carter's classroom is a neatly handwritten sign which says:

Junior Achievers Meeting

All are welcome.

Tonight's topics include:

1) Parents/Family Weekend
a) JA Meet & Greet?
b) Bake sale?
C) Personal projects?

2) Student Council: Academic Affairs is open

3) Guest speaker: Callisto, on having a FH Fashion Show

4) Words of wisdom from Dr. Carter

5) Any new business

Free food provided.

The door to the classroom is wide open. Inside Angelus sits at one of the front desks. He is busy writing in his notebook. Anyone who peered over his shoulder would see words like "Master" and "slave" in his handwriting. He is also humming a cheery tune.

On Dr. Carter's desk is an open box of peanut butter cookies from Deb's diner. There is also a sign-in sheet.

"Me too," Angelus said. "Found out when I picked up my card today. What reason did they give?"

"Some crap about one of the students turning himself into cat. Like they don't know that I'm a wizard and am smart enough not to do such a thing." Draco said "I know Parker found some not too nice things about myself and my family during the election. She most likely wants to keep me away from the dangerous stuff."

"She's doing the exact same thing to me," Angelus said. "Though I don't know if she's the one who banned me out of SC. I can't say I'm entirely happy to find out library assistants can take it upon themselves to ban students without being made to give some kind of a reason. Though I'm not surprised they're singling you and me out. Know anybody else who got put on the list?"

"None that I know of. But I'm not surprised they singled us out. We're part of the 'evil' JA." said Draco "And speaking of which, Paige called me evil today at Flying Club. Give a woman great sex and then she calls you evil! She was acting weird though, all cryptic and stuff."

"Didn't single out any other member of JA," Angelus pointed out. "But they did pick two obvious non-human types. I'm thinking this is not a coincidence of any kind.

"And something's been up with Paige for a while now," Angelus made a face. "I'd say she's on the rag but, well, I'd know."

"I bet Potter would be allowed in. I know his whole "boy who lived" tale is written up in a few books." Draco sighed "This whole non-human hating thing is really beginning to piss me off. If I killed people, which I totally don't, I could do it with my bare hands just as easily as I can with my wand."

"Plus talk about useless actions," Angelus pointed to himself. "Vampire. Not witch, not warlock, not even a guy who's really into his Dungeons and Dragons set. I couldn't cast spells if they came complete with an EZ Reader and a set of training wheels."
