Library [1-28]

The morning had been fine.  Normal library things with no books moving about of their own free will  or gremlin guts all over or anything weird like that.

The library aides' meeting had been fine too what wit' the pizza and stuff.

But after lunch, everything did change.  George kept seeing something flittering just at the edge of his vision.  Twas a person, he thought, sneaking through the library and that just wouldn' do.  He followed it to the Roman history section then over to pastel art books through literature and colouring books and maps until he was certain that the thing had gone through the doors of Special Collections.

George frowned at the doors for a moment then - hey, it was his library and his responsibility today so he left a quick note at the circulation desk (Went into Special Collections.  Will be right back.) and pushed the doors open to slip inside.

[And George is lost in Special Collections for the weekend (modded with the kind permission of [livejournal.com profile] one_who_goes). I'm heading up to Whistler, BC with [livejournal.com profile] weetinyreese and [livejournal.com profile] longislandiceme eeee and will have no internet access.  Love you all bye!]

Karla came in right after lunch, carrying a bag from Cafe Fina's and wearing one of her new outfits she'd gotten with Elena and Emma. The first thing she saw was the empty pizza boxes, making her lunch a bit superfluous. The second thing she noticed was George's note, thus making her choice of clothing a bit superfluous even if she didn't know it yet.

Karla wandered through the stacks for about fifteen minutes (she'd only meant to stay for ten but had gotten distracted, as you do), before sighing, grabbing her lunch, and heading back for the dorms.

Dammit. Now she was really curious about Special Collections.

Henry was full of hope as he perused the stacks after the aide lunch...

Well, he was until he stopped by the front desk and found George's note.

He was really going to get a lock for Special Collections.
