Modeling for Dummies, Thursday 1/28/10

"So, since movies help us all learn how the real world works, today we'll be watching something about the glamorous world of running a fashion magazine," Deadpool announced when everyone had arrived. "Isn't that just so exciting kids?"

Yeah, he didn't believe it either.

"Okay, so maybe I just wanna stab things and that's not condusive to fashion. So enjoy Anne Hathaway, but she's not showin' off the goodies in this movie. Just so you guys all know. You'd have to sit through an Ang Lee movie for that and oh god is it boring. And the the guys goin' at it in that movie? It's like watchin' dogs fight. Angry, angry, sexually repressed dogs."

Awkward time now.

"So... enjoy the movie."

Hannibal made himself comfortable in his seat to watch the movie. If he fell asleep, well, oh well. He was the TA, he thought he could get away with that.

Anne Hatahway was pretty, but Tara really didn't get this movie. She thought the editor character was way too mean.

Wait, movie?

Katchoo was going to sleep through this. She didn't know a lot about running a fashion magazine, but she'd overheard enough and wasn't interested in knowing more, thanks.

Claire tried to pay attention. But the subject matter was less than thrilling, in her opinion.

Emmett: beyond uninterested in seeing Anne Hathaway's goodies, but oh, Meryl. Divatastic.

Priestly wasn't entirely sure about the message of the whole film, since it seemed to be that being smart and knowing who you are isn't enough for women, they have to all be tiny fashion models, too.

He kinda dug the Stanley Tucci character, though.

Yeah, Chuck totally fell asleep. He stayed up late working last night, shut up.

Sam was having the easiest week ever, and while he wouldn't have minded working instead in most of his classes, he had no problem with an easy task in this class, especially since he was still mentally distracted from Peter's letter.

Warren was not going to admit that he was actually enjoying this movie. He wasn't. He wouldn't. Ever. Unless he was asked.

There was just something about the way Meryl Streep's character functioned that made him vaguely homesick. Shush.
