Modeling for Dummies, Thursday 1/21/10

After handwavily informing the kids to meet up in the danger shop, Deadpool was positively giddy about the oh so awesome fashion show that would be happening. There was even a poorly constructed runway set up for it!

"Now, I don't want you kids to feel nervous or anything about having to parade about on stage in something you created where anyone could just walk in a mock. It's not that big a deal. It's just one day that could get you labeled 'that chick slash guy who face planted on the stage because their outfit was crap'. So... you know."

Deadpool shrugged.

"Get over it. And I didn't wanna make you guys do this alone, so I got you someone to walk with. Noooow, it's possible these poorly photoshopped lil' fellas are part of the shop and won't actually bite you. Or, it's possible some of them snuck in and enjoy wearing unitards and vision obscuring masks. I dunno. But this is what you gotta deal with as a real model."

Yeeeeah.

"So, have fuuuuuun."

Tara stayed as far from the gremlins as was humanly possible as she dressed in her skirt and top and pinned her hair up. She was fairly covered, but the gremlins had her wishing for asbestos leggings.

Hannibal didn't so much mind the walking the catwalk thing because he knew he looked good. He more minded doing it in front of Professor Wilson and this...weird looking gremlin.

Hayley was playing with her makeup and finding it was hard to move in her dress (http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a184/therabidone/aggy111.jpg).

She kept glancing at the gremlin.

"...Should I think it's cute?"

"I don't think there's a rule against it," Angela offered, even if it was an... unusual opinion.

"Yay!" Hayley said, grinning. "This class is so great, isn't it?"

"Still a little weird to know the teacher looks like my boyfriend... somewhere under the pajamas," Angela admitted. "But yeah, at least fun as classes go."

"Really?" Hayley said. "MAybe... maybe he's your boyfriend from the future!"

"... Yeah, sweetie, I don't think so." Or, she really, really hoped that wasn't the case, because that thought made the whole thing that bit weirder.

"This sort of thing--" she gestured around at the fashion "--is so very not Hannibal's idea of fun."

"Maybe it will be," Hayley said, thinking. "...plus, what's not fun about pretty outfits?"

Chuck had no problem with walking a runway. He just didn't want to be upstaged by a flashy looking gremlin.

Yes, Chuck had priority problems.

Claire was kind of amused by the fashionista gremlin. Of course, she wasn't concerned about getting bitten either.

Priestly was suddenly rather wishing he'd worked shin guards into his outfit.

Nothing said he couldn't complete the whole glittery kilt thing with steel toed boots, right?

Parker was definitely not watching the gremlins and thinking about poking them to see what would happen. And she most definitely wasn't thinking about trying to steal one of their masks.

Okay, she totally was, but hey, that's Parker for you.

Warren plus coat. That was a given.

Warren plus coat, hanging around the edges, trying to figure what the hell to make of that gremlin over there? Actually, that was pretty much a given, too. He was fairly certain that he could run faster desperate than it could run hungry, though, so he wasn't too worried. Mostly.

Sam so didn't want to be here right now, and he certainly didn't want to be getting ready for a fashion show. Still, he wasn't going to get into trouble for not doing what he was supposed to, even if it would be mortifying.

Lion-o felt really awkward, and it showed on his face as he lingered backstage. He was not looking forward to having to walk the catwalk.

Jenny gave the gremlins a look of 'keep the hell away from me or get zapped.'
