Once the library was set up for the day, Sam sat down with a copy of Richard III to re-acquaintance himself with the play and to figure out how many lines he was going to have to learn. His excitement about the play was currently being balanced out by not having anyone outside of Fandom to share the news with; sure, he could tell Dean, but he'd probably just laugh and call Sam a geek. Not that that would be wrong, of course, but it just wasn't the kind of conversation he wanted to have right now.

Dinah was there to be bothering, not disturbing so much. She came in with a cupcake from J,GoB and grinned when she saw Sam. "Hail, King Richard."

Sam laughed and pointed to the cupcake. "Is that a bribe so I won't kill you like everyone else?"

Dinah chortled and handed over the cupcake, then clasped her hands in prayer. "I'll be your minion and kill people for you? And get you more pastries?"

"I like the sound of that," Sam said. "I guess I should thank you for telling me I should try out again, huh?"

"Yes you should," Dinah told him emphatically. "See? Geoffrey recognizes talent. You'll be great." She grinned. "If I can pull off being Harry V, you can pull off Richard. But you still don't get to marry your niece." She turned up her nose and him and sniffed.

"Awww, but you'd be the wife I wouldn't kill, really," Sam said with an innocent expression. "I'm glad you think I can pull it off. It's kind of scary reading through everything right now."

"I bet you say that to all your wives," Dinah said, smirking, then a little more serious. "I know, all those lines. They kind of flattened me, my first time out. If you learn them in groups it's easier, though. I'll help if you want? Since I'm your minion and all."

"That'd be awesome," Sam said. "I really am excited though, in between all the worrying that I'm gonna screw the whole play up. I'm still not going to turn down help."

"It's such a great part," Dinah said, smiling. "You don't look like Richard's supposed to, but pfftt." She waved that away. "You can do the puppy-eyes at Anne!" Ha!

Sam laughed. "I'm good at hunching down to try to look shorter," he said. "I don't think I'm going to be making a whole lot of puppy eyes overall though. It'll be fun to do a different kind of play."

"Very fun," Dinah promised. "We should take everyone out, celebrate again. Maybe this weekend? Or Friday?"

"Yeah, that'd be great," Sam said. "I don't know some people as well as I probably should. Like Kate. If I'm going to be making evil puppy eyes at her, I should probably like, talk to her more."

"Cool. Merlin's birthday party is tomorrow, so maybe later this weekend." Dinah grinned. "That'll be fun."

Sam nodded in agreement. "It'll be good to get everyone together to see what people think about their roles." And it would be yet another distraction for him, and that wasn't a bad thing at all.

"Works! Ohh, Tony and I usually grab a movie version, and show it in one of the common rooms, that'll work. With ice cream." She grinned at him, and pointed to the muffin. "And maybe pastries."
