Study Hall, Monday [1/04]

Summer opened up study hall, taking time to set out an assortment of pastries. There was also coffee, tea and various juices to go along with the snacks.

She helped herself to a large cup of coffee before settling in with her laptop. She also had a book with her, for variety. And if anyone needed help with anything, they were free to interrupt.

"For the Magic Reserves," Tony said. "See if we can get some of the newbies involved."

"There's a magic reserves?" He knew about the fighting one, because it was sort of hard not to with Zack as a big sibling, but this was news to him.

After six months, yes. Someone needed to pay better attention to radio.

"Yeah, for magic or any special powers. We practice together so we can defend the island if it's attacked," Tony said. "I guess we really need to put up posters, huh?"

"Maybe," Bobby admitted. "I mean, I knew about the one with the fighting, but the magic one's new to me." Of course, saying Bobby was not terribly observant on a good day was putting it kindly. It's entirely possible he may have missed posters, had they gone up.

"We meet on Wednesdays, if you want to check us out," Tony said.

"Um," Bobby looked uncomfortable. "I don't really- it's not really my thing, you know?"

"That's cool," Tony said. "It's all voluntary."

Well, now he kind of felt guilty for not participating, but... no. No. He was done with that stuff.

"Still," he said, still feeling a little awkward, even if Tony apparently didn't think his refusal a big deal. "I guess, you know, it's a good thing to have." Yes, Bobby. Pretty sure Tony's aware of that, seeing as how he helps run the group.
